Is there have any difference between expired domains and deleted domain?. actually i want to start a blog and wandering start with a expired domain. so is it a good idea ??? and can you guys suggest me about the matrices i should look before buy any expired domain?

mainly check "SEO value" for domain, such as Ahref DR, Moz DA.

If you’re looking to buy expired domains then check from @Nargil if you’re looking to buy outside BHW check for links quality, way back machine those are very important

There's no difference between expired and deleted domain. Also, it's not really that relevant if you want to start a money site on those.
