I bought followliker a few days back after letting one of my twitter accounts just collecting dust for way to long from an old project, I figured I might just set it up to follow/unfollow/favorite etc until I decide to pick up the project again - let it grow.
As I bought the unlimited version I also wanted to set up a few alt accounts at the same time.
Problem. There's no easy way to handle categories/different niches. Say I want to set up 5 accounts in 5 niches, I want them all to follow/retweet from one keyword or search in their niche, and favorite from another, that would require me to run 10 instances of followliker as it's not possible to set different search options for the different actions in just one, even the official answer from FL is to open another instance. Each time the tool gets updated, or the vps crash, we also need to open them all again, one instance at the time and load the correct profile.
But why cant I run all the niches in the same instance, 1 for follow/unfollow and 1 for favorite you might ask. That would only be 2 instances.
Well, I could. But that would be even more painful when I change any settings for my accounts, I'd need to update them all one at the time as there's no export/copy settings from -> to another selected account.
It is possible to select one account and copy/replace its settings to
all other accounts in that instance. But if I want different settings for my niches, I'd have to do it one at the time.
My example was just 5 niches. But what about 20 niches that I want to follow one feed and favorite another? That would require 40 instances (or update all accounts one at the time), a pain to maintain imo.
Solution. Tags/categories. Make it possible to mass select accounts and tag them. Also make it possible to copy/replace 1 accounts settings to all other accounts in a selected tag.
Bug. I was using the following settings for one of my accounts, but once triggered, it posted all 3 at the same time. Why's that?
Suggestion. The export option is also a bit odd. It doesn't contain the password for the accounts. So it's not possible to export -> import accounts. Might be worth to include, as well as an option to not mask the passwords in the account settings and overview table.
