lthough we didn't mention "lifetime" on our website or anywhere, I understand why some users feel they paid for life, but diminishing return is setting in.

Spoken like a true scammer. You have a lot to learn about the free market little buddy. When companies do this type of unethical stuff to their customers they get a "diminishing return" alright. I hope you know you just sold your whole business up the creek. You're now about to get buried in search results and tied to the terms "scam, fraud, buyer beware" with all kinds of negative reviews.

Not to mention everybody (including myself) is going straight to PayPal and our respective banks to report your whole operation for the scam that it is. Time to start thinking of a new name to operate your fraud under.

I was hoping you would do the right thing and grandfather we the customers who bought your product and helped you grow from the beginning. But you didn't....

Congratulations, you're about to be swept aside by the invisible hand of the market.

It most definitely stated that this was a LIFETIME license on your website when we all purchased. Just shut down the program then. What you are doing is FRAUD and this community will not tolerate it in any way. Greedy to say the least. You will not survive this and many others besides myself will be filing chargebacks immediately. You haven't even introduced any new features that would justify this. The existing features barely work as is. All of us are constantly filing support tickets that either go unanswered or you simply reply back after 24-48 hours with a copy and pasted message. Support is atrocious. You really think we are going to fall for that pre-written reply that took you a week to carefully write? You are wrong.

I think I can speak for everyone else when I say: YOU ARE GOING DOWN.

Bring arguments guys, no need for insults. If FL goes down, no one wins anything out of it.

Although we didn't mention "lifetime" on our website or anywhere, I understand why some users feel they paid for life, but diminishing return is setting in. We need to balance our processes. I encourage users that are concerned to reason from our perspective for a moment.

You actually did mentioned this few times in a sales thread, so it would be fair to keep promise to existing customers. Why not start selling subscription instead to new customers for increased price and/or remove one time payment?

Is this only full transparent 1 time payment and no monthly fees and no hidden charges?
Yes, it's a one-time fee. Thanks for the interest.

Hey Weblues. Question here. I have multiple licenses. As you know, FL has a long time bug where not too many accounts can run under 1 project. This caused me to get multiple licenses and multiple servers. Does this mean I have to pay $5.99 per month PER each license? Or I will be paying $5.99 per month once and for all? I truly hope I can just pay $5.99 per month no matter how many licenses. Please clarify. Thank you.

They know they are going to get shut down by Instagram that's why they made this chicken move , they also know the new pricing isn't getting them a single client so they decide to charge old ones.

I am ok with paying the $6/mo to keep FL running - this is a small price - thanks for the update

If you have questions or suggestions, please send it to us here: http://www.followliker.com/support.html

Are you sure you won't be sending the same copypasted message about your decision to change the payment policy when people actually ask you to refund the money?

What a great way to justify your scammy move.

Please show me where we specifically mentioned LIFETIME?

The way some users are speaking here is just unfortunate.

You expect to continue to receive updates, support for ever despite us not mentioning LIFETIME anywhere.

Do you even think we just woke to change things, why are some users talking this way.

Many users use the software for business, they collect money from the client on monthly basis but because we introduced a $5 after years, now that's not good but you can keep charging your clients monthly.

Many users are reselling our license and collecting monthly fee secretly since 2014 but we never said anything.

Since last year we keep deferring monthly payment and kept running everything without complaint.

It still says, except you added the new monthly charge below it.

Playing on words. One-time payment means paying one time and using it forever, with all the features listed as agreed upon the payment. One-time payment heavily associates with lifetime access, just like any other software sold with a lifetime/unlimited access. Otherwise, this reviewer (http://www.aaronwardmedia.com/followliker-review/) wouldn't mention lifetime access over and over again (maybe a paid promotion, not sure) if the association wouldn't exist, it's more or less a synonym.

NONE OF THAT IS OUR PROBLEM. We don't care whatever problems you are dealing with. Your license agreement stated that this was a ONE-TIME LIFETIME fee for as long as the program existed with updates and support. Now you want to change the pricing to a monthly SUBSCRIPTION plan AFTER we all purchased under the assumption it was a ONE-TIME FEE?!? You're not getting away with it. NOPE. Sorry.

I can't wait for the Shitlist thread to open up. Chargebacks galore coming your way all week long. You think you got problems now? Lol...Just shut down the program. You're gonna lose it all anyways. You really think we're all gonna just accept this laying down? You are sadly mistaken, my friend.

THIS is how you ruin yourself. You're gonna be banned from here by the end of the week most likely so I'd really consider your options here in a more logical way. This is the worst possible way to cheat, steal, scam, and treat your customers. Who in the world is going to trust you and pay for your program ever again after reading all of this and god knows what else in your search results?

LMAO you are one bold little scammer. At the time of purchase no monthly fee being possible in the future was ever in the verbage....since you're a lawyer today. And the reason it wasn't included was because you wouldn't have done the amount of business at the outset. For a lot of people a monthly subscription was a deal breaker as to going to the competition or not.

YOU changed the terms, not we the customers, the lifeblood of your product. And spare us the sob stories of needing more cash for resources. You should've thought about that when you launched...just like very other software development company. We the consumer shouldn't eat the consequences of your incompetence.

By the way, we're not stupid. We know what's going on with Instagram and how things are getting tight so I wouldn't be surprised if you guys got shut down. We don't care what you say about "backup plans" or what not. If Instagram wants you to stop making calls to their servers you will eventually be shut down.

But you won't have to worry about Instagram shutting FollowLiker down. We the consumers will do that. Just like with all unethical businesses. We're not making idle threats or warning you, just watch what happens. What's "unfortunate" is that you're trying to play lawyer with the semantics to weasel your way out of bad press. Which won't happen.

Check your brand on Google day to day and you'll see what I'm talking about shortly.

Many users are reselling our license and collecting monthly fee secretly since 2014 but we never said anything.

Please elaborate. As far as I can tell, some people do manage clients' accounts with FL. Which I believe any user is entitled to as your terms don't prohibit this. I don't think anybody is "reselling your license", since your license can only be used on 1 computer.

Last post in here, SL already on the way. I just hope that there won't be any BigBuddy scenario so that there is no one from the staff involved in this or it could get messy. I have enough faith in BHW to hope that is not true, but the gut instinct acts as a warning.

Why did you not tell this member the truth then... after being very sincerely asked the following?

What a disgrace. Thank you @SH-M

There are a lot of things I will not be discussing on this thread.

I have stated our position as at today.

This will be my last response for now.
