We're starting this week's newsletter off with a very short case study by Super Moderator @davids355.

Here on BHW, it can be easy to think you can just toss a bunch of links at your site to rank, but as those of you who own classic cars know, that's the equivalent of throwing parts at the problem.

That's why the purpose of this thread was to demonstrate how effective on-page SEO changes can be to your rankings, especially when you target local low-competition keywords.

Despite this being an internet marketing forum, many of our members do indeed have offline businesses.

3. I don't understand people who use ChatGPT
Jr. VIP @sscaz posted a rather controversial thread in our Artificial Intelligence in Digital Marketing section.

The thread, which was rather short, questions why anyone would use ChatGPT when they could use QuillBot instead.

@sscaz... How dare you?

No, but really, with all of the different machine learning tools out there right now, it is important to explore different options. After all, the most popular option may not be the best option (I'm looking at you, Purple Mattress).

4. Please stop destroying the market
LEAVE THE MARKET ALONE! PLEASE!

Jr. VIP @amanguy didn't actually write it in a Chris Crocker-esque style, but that's how I read it, so that's what I'm going with.

Anyway, their thread actually does go over an interesting issue in the industry where some people work at unsustainable wages to make themselves more competitive.

Ultimately, this puts their competitors out of business and convinces consumers that these low prices are normal, making it more difficult to charge a more sustainable rate in the future.

5. Tips for running Black Hat offers on Google Ads
Black hat ads on Google Ads, despite seeming so abundant, have gotten more difficult over the years

That's why Jr. VIP @clo.king posted a thread you likely missed this week in the Google Ads section.

These are the 10 tips they have to offer, some of which you probably know, with others that you probably don't know.

6. Uploading Weekly for 1 whole year!!! This is the results

What's New on BHW?
If you haven't heard already, due to the changes in the terms of service announced at imgur around content removal of anomalous accounts, we have removed imgur as our recommended image hosting provider.

Please note the change in the marketplace-recommended image upload process as outlined here. Section 1 point 12.

There is no need for you to submit change requests to make changes we are working on a solution to transfer all existing images in forum posts.

Okay, that might be a bit of an exaggeration (but just a bit), but we promise that we've got some juicy threads for you, courtesy of our wonderful community.

People making money off of free stuff? Well, I'll be a monkey's uncle...

Wait, no monkey, it's just an expression. We can't actually be your uncle.

... Well, now that the monkey is gone, we can talk about the thread itself.

So Jr. VIP @INCC shared something very interesting with our community, and that is how people are making money by selling stuff on Gumroad found here on BHW for free.

Now, this is no secret method as it's been done for ages in a variety of different ways, but it does go to show that there are some very easy money making methods available still, even if this one is a little shiesty.

2. [METHOD] How you can make EASY money in a T3 country
Did someone say easy money?

• "No such thing, boy!"
• "If it's easy, it's not worth it"
• "Just move to a T1 country"

Silence, naysayers! There's still easy money to be made with internet marketing. For someone, this method shared by Registered Member @NSFWFARMER may not be worth it.

However, for others, this just might be the method you've been searching for to get your feet wet in this industry.

As a bonus, Jr. VIP @Sol added their own spin on this method in the same thread where you use ChatGPT to write short course reviews.

3. [GUIDE] How to go viral on Tiktok with an Onlyfans model
Registered Member @riccc shared a method that not only tells you how to go viral on TikTok, but how to actually find a model in your niche (did not realise some models specialise in niches like "teacher" and "nurse" until today).

This method does require you to have US/UK sim cards alongside taking some precautions, so be sure you understand this before attempting this method.

4. Subway is giving away free sandwiches for life — with a catch.
As shared by Moderator @Mrnewbie, Subway is looking for a new icon who is not named Jared (yeah, we went there...).

That's right, Subway is... looking for someone named Subway?

Wait, what?


Yeah, you read that right.

So, if you haven't heard about this by now, Subway is giving away "a lifetime" of free Subway sandwiches to anyone who enters their drawing to win the golden ticket to changing their legal first name. That's the catch!

They're offering to pay for the legal fees, but bear in mind that according to Legendary Administrator @Zwielicht's post, "a lifetime" of free subs from Subway is only $50,000 worth of Subway gift cards.

That is to say, if you ate at Subway once a day, every day by yourself, that might only last you between 5-10 years depending on where you live.

In other words, it's a lifetime if you've only got 5-10 years to live.

So Jr. Executive VIP @xReminisce shared an article where leading financial investors are claiming that employee microchipping may become common in the workplace by the year 2030.

All of this came as a result of a company controversially microchipping its employees in the US.

Our newsletter team did find another article stating that a Swedish company did this on a voluntary basis to their employees back in 2015, so it's not necessarily new.

3. I fixed my crawled but not indexed issues
Newbie Member @blogmarketer was having an issue with their website where their site was being indexed but not crawled. As a result, they opened up Google PageSpeed Insights to figure out what the problem was.

To their surprise, all of the pages had the same issue with the mobile performance metric, see? So, they went ahead and fixed up those issue, resubmitted their pages, bada bing, bada boom! M'yeah, see? Fixed those pages right up, see? M'yeah!
