We're nearing the end of September and BlackHat World has been busy this week! Lots of discussion about SEO, some social discussions as well as AI.

Before getting into the threads of the week, we'd like to take this time to mention that we've re-opened the feedback thread about our Plans for Old Sales Threads. BHW's Tip of the Week
The BlackHat World staff that work in the Dispute Resolution section of the forum would like to pass on a few tips for submitting Disputes.

1. Read the rules of the Dispute Resolution section thoroughly.
2. Your business with the Accused MUST have started on BHW. It can be via a sales thread, in the WTB/HAF areas, JV, a signature or banner.
3. Start a DM (direct message) with the accused. Not only is this mandatory, but sometimes you can actually work out the issue!
4. If you get to needing to submit the Dispute form, READ everything!
5. Submit EVERYTHING and don't skip steps!

By following these guidelines, you'll get your Dispute through. However, did you know 9/10 times if you make sure to only conduct business with an upgraded member, in areas it's allowed, you can avoid a Dispute?

Especially if you go to DMs (Direct Messages) instead of going off site where potential scammers can delete information that will support your Dispute!

This week we have rolled out a new feature across the forum, namely the Suggested Topics feature. To try and cut down on repeated threads, when you now try to create a new topic you will be given a list of existing threads that might suit your question / post. It's great, you'll love it!

Also, you may have noticed a change to the rules in our Want To Buy and Hire a Freelancer sections. You can no longer create threads in these sections unless you have a post count of 15 or more. This comes after feedback from the community and discussions among the BHW team. Let us know what you think of the change!

The major changes you need to be made aware of are that we have shortened the period in which sellers can reopen threads from 6 months to 1 month, and that after 1 month expired sales threads will be permanently archived.
