I feel like there is a lot of negativity on the forum at the moment, so I feel the need to bring back some positivity by saying a big thank you to this forum and the members doing the right thing, as I (and many others) have benefited greatly.
For a brief story:
Mid last year, my day job became unbearable. Due to various work problems, I found myself covering work for 2 other people AND training a new person to the organisation from scratch. Working 10-12 hour days became the norm. My industry in my city is small, so I was contacted by a competitor and offered a huge pay rise to jump across to them, which I accepted.
Upon starting this new job, I found my work being reduced from 10 hour days to 4-5 hour days (even less sometimes), as their processes for the same type of work are much simpler and easier to complete. As a bonus too, I now work from home 3-4 days per week!
With all this newfound free time, I decided to get back into wifi money.
I am not new to online business and marketing - I started with ebay dropshipping that running "hot" drop shipping single page product stores, like fidget spinners and fidget cubes. Did okay with this, nothing life changing but a decent addition to my regular pay. Did a little bit with niche sites but never had the patience for it.
Joining here, reading a lot, and following people's journeys and then applying the knowledge has given me confidence to start a business I have been thinking about for a while and turn it profitable in a few short months.
This is why I want to thank this forum. Remember, we wouldn't be here if we weren't getting some value. I hope sometime soon I can provide value to others in this forum, like people have given to me.
