I put in my date of birth wrong, can I change it?

Administrators can change the date of birth that's assigned to your account, but we will need to verify that you are who you say you are. Please contact support who will be able to help you.

At best you get a bunch of worthless freebies on the website, and some spam in your mailbox, on your birthday date.

It's as part of your security reset question set. It's more a memorable date - everyone remembers their birthday so we use it for that reason.

Not at all we don't do that sort of thing on BHW. A little more time on the forum will provide some insight into how the forum works.

In what case is this security reset question set needed? If you lost your password and can't access to your sign up linked mailbox anymore?

No offense to BHW, I never said this site do such things. For me, it's a general rule over the internet. Data scrappers are everywhere, don't give true infos. People do business with it and you won't earn a kopek. But you already know this, more than everyone, right ?

I spent enough time on the forum to know what all this is about, and I enjoyed discovering the many sections. I'm not really interested in the digital marketing stuff but this forum has many other things to learn from, I'll be hanging around it for some time.

PS: Shitlist is amazing :D

Because it doesn't say anything about you more than the temperature outside.

You share your DOB with around 0.27% of the world population anyway.
