I would like to check the availability of hundreds of thousands of domains. Is there an API or method for doing this that isn't super expensive? I realize there are probably no free methods, but has anyone found a good alternative that won't cost a fortune?
Let's say I have built a PBN of old sites all related to my niche with legit content and all pretty much look like real blogs. Is there any point to hiding these from crawlers? How is anyone going to know these aren't legit if they all look real and different?
I am more and more getting the feeling that google ranking factors are determined by much more than backlinks and content quality. Listen to this question and answer:
To me the answer very much alludes to the fact that google is very interested in bounce rate, time spent on the page, does the...
And before you say metrics arn't everything, I know that. Here's why I am curious. Majestic a while back changed some things, and also stated that we should be using the root (without the www.) when checking metrics. This makes it a lot harder to find decent domains.
So what are some good...
I googled the shit out of this but could only find plugins that no follow everything and then you can add exceptions. I need a plugin that can allow you to no follow URLS based on the domain. All I want to do is no follow my amazon links site wide and leave everything else alone. I have a site...
Long story short this new update on the 10th (or whatever the fuck it was) fucked my main income site.
This site is basically feeding my family and was one of my main income sources. Anyways this last month has been harsh! Losing half my traffic and dropping pretty hard in rankings.
I need to...
This is my overview for the last month. My bounce rate is almost 90% which seems very high to me. Most of my traffic is from people searching for one specific thing like: "Best blah blah for blah". Which I assume means they find their answer and click off the page? I really don't know much about...
Very weird backlinks coming into my site and I looked and also see my competitor has similar links.
They all looked similar to this: http://lolworld.kr/board_YYad70/554862
Here's another example: http://hspark.org/board/1170728
A lot of them have the 'greedy cunts' shit in it. Is this someone...
Wtf google? I am trying to do the right thing here. Someone made some seriously spammy links to a URL of mine so I disavowed them. Not too many maybe 100 or so. Well over the last couple days I have seen a drop in rank for my keywords for that URL. So wtf should I do now just un-disavow them I...
I have long read about getting scholarship backlinks and decided to give it a try. My question is (since I am quite lazy) is there any services or sites to submit these to that will help in colleges and edu sites linking to you or do you just kinda have to email everyone by hand and hope for the...
I think I may be being targeted by a competitor. I keep seeing a ton of spammy comments on shitty spammed to death blogs with exact match anchors. Wtf are my options here? Just keep disavowing them? I haven't really seen any rank changes so far.
I have some keywords that seem to never sit still in google. They fluctuate wildly from first page (lately position 10 or so) to second page on a daily basis. I have been building some backlinks here and there but this has been a month of this constant fluctuating fuckery. It's literally the...
It seems that if a url is no longer available on a website (the website is expired so the links all 404) Majestic will mark its backlinks as deleted whether or not they exist or not still.
"It is likely (if the link is still there for you) that our bot was unable to get back to the page in...
So everyone has always looked at www. version of a domain vs the non www. version when searching for domains. We buy and use whichever version has the higher metrics.
Well now it seems as if Majestic is saying that you should only ever look at the root domain (non www.) when purchasing a...
So I went out on a limb to buy a bunch of expired domains that had some great metrics. I put some sites on some of them, others have been sitting there for a week or two now without content or anything. Well I checked on some of them today and the TF had dropped from high 20's to 10 or lower on...
I found a great domain I want to bring back to life for a pbn. This site had 100's of quality posts active for 5+ years. I'm a little worried about bringing back a big site like that. What kind of trouble can I get into if they decide to look back at their old site and make a stink?
Probably goes without saying but Iwriter is pretty shit! I just tried it out and had about 6 articles written. I approved a few that were great and was really happy. Well they were great because they were all almost all completely plagiarised. Contacting support about it now. Not sure how these...
I have never tried this before so I figured I'd see what you guys have to say. I usually start off with new domains for affiliate sites.
Today I found an old website that had been selling a product and it's related products online for 10+ years (non affiliate). It's metric were: CF:32 TF:33 and...
