Expired domains losing TF?

So I went out on a limb to buy a bunch of expired domains that had some great metrics. I put some sites on some of them, others have been sitting there for a week or two now without content or anything. Well I checked on some of them today and the TF had dropped from high 20's to 10 or lower on a bunch of them. The backlinks still seem to be there so I am confused as to why this happened. Are they a complete loss or should I still build sites on them since the backlinks are there (which is what google cares about anyways not TF)?

Trust flow does not exist at all. Trust flow is a metric created by majestic. Google does not rely on it. This metric was created so you can have a idea about the domains link profile, so it doesn't matter if the domain is expired or not, trust flow shall remain the same, unless sites linking to the domain start to remove the links, that would be a reason to the tf drop.

Thats what I was thinking. It's just a made up number. It was high at one point and the backlinks are still there so I'm just going to continue on. Fug it.

I just notice now that there's a thread mentioning that majestic updated their algo that determines TF and CF . I can't libk because I'm on my phone, but shall be on front page . Check it out, maybe that's related to what you are experiencing

Oh really interesting that could be it than. I will take a look thanks.

Similar thing happened to me two days ago. Bought a website for PBN from hamxxxxx, it showed TF 28, but when I checked it on majestic, it shows TF 10.

I think majestic might be fucking up or something. I checked some backlinks they say are deleted but they are still there. So maybe somone flipped the wrong switch or something over there.

@zacatictac a huge majestic update is rolling on. And this is the 2nd time within last two weeks. Just check your ref. domain no. Is it dropped or still the same like before. If its okay then no need to worry about TF anymore :)
