Well, apparently, sometimes in the past few hours, Majestic updated its algorithm to determine the Trust Flow. It seems that it dropped overall, at least for "URL", which is "http://www.domain.com". You can see it on the metrics of your money and PBN websites.

I've already sent a support ticket there to make sure what this is about and what is the reason of this.

Here you can see the metrics on some of my Tumblrs. I updated the list in the morning, maybe 8 hours ago. On the left you can see the previous TF from this morning and on the right there is Trust Flow now. Significant overall drop. Same goes for the domains.

Of course, it's just a number and doesn't determine the true quality of domains, but this is quite a significant change. Are you seeing the same "fun" going on as well?

Same here, there is drop in TF in my domains too. Look like they fucked up

Ive seen a drop in TF too, though one or two also went up.

Why do people care about these metrics? Sure, they give you an overview of the domains but as Google doesn't care about it, it doesn't matter.

It's not like if TF drops, your rankings will do as well.

Just my opinion, people.

Thank you for your amazing insight. I am checking that and asking other people, because I have two BSTs here which are strongly tied with Trust Flow. And updates like this only cause my hair to go grey, because I have to revamp the sales threads. Due to a reason which you stated. Domains are just as good, but their TF is lower for no apparent reason.

People go after the new "shinning objects", which was CF/TF DA/PA and so many other metrics. They just give you an overview of the domains or pages.

I know lots of people hang on them as that's what people want, but people should be pitching other stuff, not only metrics.

Best of luck buddy.

Very well, I received a response from Majestic:

Our algorithms have notchanged in the last few years. But links change on the internet, we crawl the internet and update metrics based on this changing picture of interlinking sites.
Please check the topics tabs, lost links tabs and the status of referring pageswith respect to our crawler being able to visit them (enter the URL into siteexplorer it will tell you the last date and result of the last crawl) alsoensure that your own site is able to be crawled to ensure that flow metrics arepassed around your own site efficiently and give the most benefit.

Then I sent them the screenshot from the opening post, mentioned that other people saw drops too and they just copy-pasted the first response lol.

Talk about awesome support.

My money site TF was 27 when i last checked, maybe 1-2 days ago. After seeing your post i just checked and its now 17. Ref. domain is still same so i guess no lost link is here. Game is on

Checked a few random PBN domains and nothing has changed on my end it seems.

The average drop was around 2 - 3 points. Nothing drastic and links are still there of course, just the evaluation is different.

Who gives a fuck .... my 50 cent ;)

yes,#1 website。yesterday 31 now tf 22,another one 37 now 22

Agree with @royserpa ,google don't give a sh**! Google has their own way of giving value to a site. The latest update also confirmed that PR is still a factor to them!

PR has always been a factor. We just don't see it.

And I will explain it once again. TF is just a number. It has no direct impact on how good the domain really is. However, some people focus and want high TF stuff, some sellers (including me) sell stuff based on the TF, because you have to draw a line somewhere. Thus the meaning of this thread. Fact that the metrics dropped has no actual impact on anything regarding SEO. It just causes headache for sellers.

It's kinda hard to explain to people that this TF7 is just as good as any TF10 domain before this update. Especially those who take Trust Flow metrics for the main measurement of quality.

I think they've fucked up and it will all return to how it was in a couple of days.

Good chance of that happening.

I did wonder why my entire pbn dropped 20 TF each on average, the changes for my sites were huge. Thanks for posting this, I wondered wtf happened.
Interestingly the CF is still the same.

CF is pointless, ignore that metric. :)
