Well Majestic is back at it again. There is no algorithmic update though, but their bulk uploader has been slowly becoming unusable.
Their servers are getting overloaded. It started month or two ago. Here and there, it took half an hour to process a file via bulk uploader, which would normally take 30 seconds to process. And few months later, today, it takes aroud 4 - 5 hours to process a stupid 50 line .txt file, which should normally be instant. Requests are queueing, because servers cannot handle the amount of domains to process.
So instead of limiting subscriptions or improving their servers, Majestic doesn't give a fuck. The response from the support after a really agitated ticket from me was "Our engineers are working on it." Yes, I can imagine...
There is a brutal hole in the market at the moment. Whoever would come with a similar service, which would be stable, had a reliable quality metric and would be able to determine niche relevancy correctly, would be a market leader within a few months. Majestic lied about their first update, then announced it with fanfares. They haven't even informed about their latest update from few weeks back, which was as huge as the one from October. And now their services are becoming shit as a bonus. I am growing unbelievably tired of this company. The sheer arrogance is unbelievable.

Yep, they need to do something and fast, because someone else will come in and take the part of their pie.
