Hey,
Flutter 1.5 just got showcased in the latest Google I/O conference and it is a breakthrough event in all of development history.
Born as an alternative Cross-Platform language for iOS and Android, one code works natively for both of platforms, even though in beta phase it beat React Native.
Flutter has already started killing Swift, Java, Kotlin and competition in Mobile Cross-Platform Development and Web Development (Javascript) Now it is aiming to be an universal programming language, giving the opportunity to build apps with one code base for the following platforms:
Android
iOS
Windows
MacOS
Linux
ChromeOS
Chromium (Chrome Browser, Microsoft Edge Browser)

In a nutshell.

React Native is cool and a game changer, PWA is cool and is also a game changer and now Flutter is cool and it's the definitive game-changer, and so on.

Web apps are like shampoo, they promise the definitive solution and the new shampoo is way better than the previous version but it is still shampoo, or in this case, it is still a web app.
