PPC+ Clickbank : In-Need Of Desperate Help !

I am using paid traffic(Bing Ads) to capture email leads and i am paying close to $ 0.70-1 USD for email leads. ($ 0.3 USD is my CPC).
I am getting 30-50% optin rates on my Landing Page.
But the thing is that even after, spending so much money on getting subscribers, i get around 40-50% email open rates and out of which only 5-10% people click on my link and probability of them buying my product, after going to my sales page is, probably NULL.
So, even after spending a huge amount of money i am getting no satisfactory results.

1. So is Email Marketing+Clickbank worth it?
2. What type of landing page to use? Should I capture email leads on your landing page?
3. What are conversion rates are the successful marketters getting thru their email +clickbank campaign?
4. How do I convince your people to buy your affiliate products?
5. Shud i continue with email marketing? What's the trick for getting positive ROI on my campaign?

I have already spent $500+ on experimenting, can't afford to lose more.

What type of landing page do you use(email capture) or something else? What conversion rate(sales) do you get thru email marketing?

I was promoting a product with 0.5 gravity count. My landing page and emails were dope! Is there an issue with a product? Will i have better chance of sales if i promote $1 trial products?
