The other day I was talking to someone I respect from this forum, I found his opinion interesting, and I want to know what you think.

Is that budget on a monthly or yearly basis?

I prioritize understanding the client's expectations before planning the budget, and the specific industry or niche also plays a role in determining the appropriate budget.

Invest this money in learning.
There're lots of SEO opportunities which don't require that much.

4-5 figures are good enough if you know what you're doing and willing to take the risk up to a point,
I believe experience is much more required and necessary when it comes to SEO,
I know people who burnt 5 figures in a monthly basis for several months and got no results at all
