Which ad network is this?EPMV
Not necessarily, if the keyword is a spelling error it's generally not going to have much competition for that exact keyphrase. PLUS, everything else was spot on in regards to content, setting up SILOS, clustering, link building etc. which for any medium to low competition keyword is going to produce results...This shows EMD remain a powerful technique despite rumors to the contrary,..., that I have been hearing in the past ten years or so.
Thanks Bud, back then i was working with someone quite huge in our Industry for a very low sum.Great journey, thanks for sharing. Of course I don`t know how busy you are, but if I were you I think I would not sell this. I have a feeling that would jump more and more as you know what you are doing. Congrats!
Sure, Anchor strategy was quite simple.what your anchor strategy? like how much exact match keyword, LSI, Partial, Generic ratio
since your's was emd how you built link?
It was my first site. In my head, i knew that I will be always be emotionally attached to it and not look at it as a business.Great share!
The only point I cannot follow why do you sell at Roi 14?
I am pretty sure the price could be 50k.
Anyway congrats!
Exactly Sir, EMD have had a bad name just due to the fact that they are spoiled badly to be at the top. However if you become a Google Algo then you will notice, for them its just another site and if you have good content and good votes(Links), there's no harm in rewarding you as far as you are satisfying the user's intentThis shows EMD remain a powerful technique despite rumors to the contrary,..., that I have been hearing in the past ten years or so.
Thanks, Yes I do. All are on full throttle. Will be sharing some really cool stuff soon.Really nice, congratulations and keep going! Now you have the cash flow to build more than 5 websites at once.
Thanks, Wishing you Success!Bookmarked.
Great job!
Ya, Got luckyCongrats man, nice catch with thy typo!
Buyer is another IM with a huge network so he could really leverage my site and dominate that whole nicheI have some understanding about the niche you worked. How did you find the buyers for it? Buyer is another IMer or a brand that want more visibility?
I sold it because I felt, it had gotten enough and wanted to invest the cash into some thing that was picking up back then. Few other things that fueled my decision were the upcoming recession which I know would drop ad-rates and eventually my multipleThis really gives light to content is king concept..
Really this was a great journey.
Why did you feel to sell it now?
Is it because some new changes or you didn't see future promising with this?
Yes Sir, However I sold it considering the recession period which would drop the ad rates and also my multiple. Also with EMD, not many want to take the risk of putting their money when they have a chance to push that money into a more diversified website. But again, as you said, now i have money to invest in other websitesThis is a really interesting case study. Your domain already have enough authority to sustain in the long run. You should've demanded more money for it. But, now you have enough money to apply same techniques to grow many more sites.
Welcome Man, Wishing you success! My god, so much inspiration. Thanks a lot for sharing this.
And god damn!!!!!!!
You're welcome BudGreat story. Thanks for sharing
In the head, we treated it as any other website. The anchors were naturally diversified as in 60% as exact anchor, rest were LSI, Partial terms, Read More, Check Out, etcThis is really a great Case Study on EMD. It's great to read. I was wondering how did you manage anchor text variations for link building as it is EMD. Just Curious!!!
Thanks!
I totally agree. i have something very soon coming up as a case study where like you said, Content is the king, there's always room for making it big. That's as comprehensive as it gets! Fantastic share, very insightful.
The typo aside, putting out great quality content, and playing the long game when it comes to SEO is a great way to go about it!
