Case Study: EMD That Made Me $40,000

Really nice, congratulations and keep going! Now you have the cash flow to build more than 5 websites at once.

Congrats man, nice catch with thy typo!

I have some understanding about the niche you worked. How did you find the buyers for it? Buyer is another IMer or a brand that want more visibility?

This really gives light to content is king concept..
Really this was a great journey.

Why did you feel to sell it now?
Is it because some new changes or you didn't see future promising with this?

This is a really interesting case study. Your domain already have enough authority to sustain in the long run. You should've demanded more money for it. But, now you have enough money to apply same techniques to grow many more sites.

Well done, everything was natural SEO, so there was no way to penalise you.

everything you explain is stright whitehat.

content is king .
Yes Sir

Actually we had seen there were few websites(competitors) who did everything as per the books but still took hit in some of the updates.

Honestly, these days its just unpredictable. All we can do is to be optimistic and keep working

this is the stuff that intrest me .

Clustering

After 6–7 months, we were stuck on 3rd position in SERPs and did everything we could to outrank the 1st result but it won’t go. Someone suggested us to do clustering, You can confuse clustering with LSIs and SILO but what we were doing is simply trying to write more and more articles around the main keyword and intern-link them.

We attempted all the keywords that made sense despite having 0 or 10 volume. After about 8 months, we won the 1st position and it’s been 9 months since January this year, we still have the 1st position.

i always went hard on seo to understand thngs deeply .

is there any examples of your method of Clustering please .

Sure, You can read this example by SEJ: https://www.searchenginejournal.com/topic-clusters-on-site-seo/319109/

more and more articles around the main keyword and intern-link them.

but how you recognise the correct keywords that give you weight to outrank the competition.

did the keywords match the competitions and you interlinked with articles

trying to pick your strategy and brain

loved the whole write up and stategy well done .

there always a way .

The way I recognize the correct keywords is by making a map diagram of everything related.

As an example, I want to rank for "Best CBD oil for Cats"

I know its very competitive but how do i establish myself as an authority for Google if i don't have power of links

I try and go behind attempting keywords where most don't focus, so i will attempt 10-20 information queries like "is CBD Safe?", "Is CBD Deadly?". They have volume of 0-10 but what that does is, because of my content, it will push me to the top and when i have 10-20 such articles in top 3. You are going to get recognized by Google

-> No, If we replicate what competitiors do, we will be like them. Always had a Brutal domination mentaility. We looked at their flaws. As in my case, everyone over-interlinked their articles. We instead kept our eagerness aside and thought of relevancy and diversification in mind.

My god, so much inspiration. Thanks a lot for sharing this.

And god damn!!!!!!!

Great story! Did you write all the articles yourself?
Yes Buddy, I wrote all the articles myself since the topic was a bit too technical and i knew writers often drag

Wanted to have control over content :) and also I had time back then
