Gentlemen, whenever I'm the need of a little pick-me-up, I always go to this speech. It's what made me quit my job and start my business, it's what gets me focused when things seem dire. I don't care if you agree with Jordan and it doesn't matter which sector or position you're in - this is universal and it's what everyone needs to listen to right now.

Personally I won't switch from Amazon unless they straight up close their program. I'm just going to work on increasing my conversion rates on my sites to try to make up for the loss in commission.

Time to start moving away, we should create a guide and sticky it with amazon alternatives. I know it depends on your niche and location but a lot of local businesses who dont have an affiliate program would be happy to hear from you your in their niche and drive buying customers to amazon constantly. Worth looking into, especially with people driving to support local businesses

Fucking shit man, first eBay cut commissions hard in the categories I was targeting last fall. And now after getting momentum in my amazon affiliate and seeing some profit, they pull this bs man.

How do you go about getting/tracking comissions etc. for referring sales when a vendor does not have an affiliate program?

May be we can stop plating by Amazon rules and go for more aggressive about Amazon product promotion.

If Amazon keeps cutting their commission rates, we will reach at stage where nobody will care about losing an amazon affiliate account
