Amazon Cutting Commissions on April 21st

Well, it appears that commissions will be cut once again on April 21st. Highest rate is now 3% for some shopping categories, while many have fallen to 1%.

Unreal, looks like this is going to affect a lot of people. They just sent out an email.

So it means if i'm earning 10 000usd per month right now, I'll earn ~4000 right now. Nice.

Did you just receive an e-mail from Amazon, stating some changes on the operating agreement?

They lowered their fees to a ridiculously low 3% for almost all categories, some of them even 1%.

This is what I got.

Health & Personal Care 1.00%
Amazon Fresh 1.00%

This is probably the end of an era.

I am so done with Amazon affiliate sites.
 
I just read my email and wanted to post this. :) I don't know now if it's worth investing further my time and money in amazon affiliate. :( The drop in percent it's too big.
 
Affiliates is what built that company, we should demand more in some sort of affiliate union
 
It is high time for me to move onto other streams. I was already contemplating moving away based on how Amazon treats its employees.

For everyone complaining, remember the cookie is what counts. It happened twice already that someone made very big orders and I got a bit commission, one it was someone who was building a house and bought like 10k worth of tiles and I got $100 just from that order and other time someone bought like 5k worth of sanitizer gel and I got $50 just from that order.

It's not about margins is about volume with them. If you want to play margins you need to approach the suppliers of the products you promote directly and offer them a deal.

where the hell is eletronics and computers and shit? do they no longer offer commisions for these?
