Facebook bent me over and disabled my ad account!

Okay I have a store through Shopify I have been running fine on Facebook for a minute now. Smooth process for months of fast approvals of ads, consistent scaling, and no issues. Sounds about normal right? So then I decided to launch a new product. This product happened to be a popular Halloween item known as the purge mask. It was running fine for a while on PPE gathering data and what not then I try to duplicate and test some more creative as a person normally would right? WRONG. Facebook proceeded to shut the ad account down right away after duplication, no reason was given for why they did that. Definitely linked to the purge mask but I am sure I didn’t violate any policies in the ad. Thanks FB. I’m wondering why this happened and if you can give me some insight.

Appeal it, say you were running Halloween items and you believe it’s not against the policies. Should get it back in less than 24 hours, unless you did something else or it’s against their policy you should get it back.

Check out this image. Got hit with this after I did an appeal. The payment account “violated terms of service”. I think I might try and talk to an ad support member on FB to get this fixed..looks like appeal team won’t even give me a detailed reason of what I did wrong.

I appealed it and all they did was say that my payment account “violated terms of service”. This is crazy lmao.

You may surely appeal but Facebook is not that customer friendly in terms of ad accounts chances of they doing anything to restore the account would be very less.

Do you think it would be possible to run the same store and payment method on another ad account? I have multiple ad accounts up and running and only 1 got disabled.

Yes, if just one account is disabled then you can surely use that, but I will recommend you to wait atleast a week to see it has not affected your other ad accounts.

they disabled mine recently because i had no money at paypal at that moment. when i paid my bill later, they disabled it. suckers :)
