Do you guys trust Neil Patel?

I trust him as much as I trust my butthole letting a fart out when I am sick in food poisoning.

I never read any of his stuff, but I remember he used to have some good stuff for newbies. So I have nothing bad to say about him.

I met him sometime around 2009. He was still living at home, drove an old piece of junk Honda Civic and hadn't discovered Prada yet. He was cool back then. I watched some of his recent stuff and you can tell it's on stage hype conference rah-rah type material. Great for the masses when they need a story to listen to, but boils down to unusable whitehat debris.

Jokes aside, I don't like the guy at all but from a marketing perspective he is the best at what he does which is conning people really lol Most of these SM guru's are like this. FOr instance, recently I saw a course by Charles Ngo, now in marketing he appears to have a high reputation right..So this course was released in 2018 and I can't even remember the name as I trashed it instantly and don't know the original price either but 3-4 figures.

For this course he was working with 2 so-called expert brothers who developed a "system".

To cut things short what the course was about was collecting emails...fucking marketing 101 so collection emails, how to setup a landingpage in clickfunnels and a lot of fluff and BS build around it..

So like Taj, these guys are making fat stacks with BS. I absolutely hate this kind of marketer but it does work.

OT same goes for this Neil Patel, an absolute idiot that rehashes everything, he doesn't even give it it's own twist but just because he has this Indian nerdy appearance and he knows how to talk, people fall for this BS.

Recycling content from expired domains just adding a new first paragraph, buying expired domains with good DA/PA and 301 them... and posting content +800 words every 2/3 days. I take almost 90% of my content from expired domains using wayback machine.

How do you find these quality domains? I get lucky everynow and then and scrap the old data fro. Waybackmachine but I need to learn how to find expired domains in a niche with good DA/PA

He is not that good at SEO. Most of his blog posts are trash. He manually scavenges content, rewrites it, rebrands it and presents it like a scientific discovery. He speaks everything with an authority as if he invented them.

He is one of the average SEO bloggers and one of the best marketing experts I've ever seen.

he was early in business and most importantly he had top level real life connections and social circle in the first place. if he started from scratch today with zero connections like most of us do he would get nowhere by his seo knowledge and secrets.

He worked hard and made connections just like anyone else can. The thing is most people on BHW are interested in cheap tricks rather than long-term relationships.

I don't follow him much, but I've seen one of his talks where he dropped some gems for free. I wouldn't pay for a course though.

I'm not neil patel's fans but i really don't understand why you guys bashing him since he is richer and far more success than us here. So i'm sure he knows better than us on marketing.

His blog get a LOT of traffic and also ranks for many tough keywords so i think he know what he is doing.

Just because OP try to follow neil's way, it doesn't mean OP does the exact thing.

Listen, I'm running since 2016 a fanblog from a very successful classic rock band. Even their official website and social media back links me. Just like 1+1=2 of course Google skyrocketed the blog. It's nothing to do with SEO. Patel have found a good speech as a SEO guru. Also, he spend a LOT of money on FB ads and Adwords.

One of his PBN are running more than 100 blogs and a lot make use of Adwords. One of G main metrics? Having sites ranking #1 (even by paid positioning) back linking you will give you a boost. My thread of course is a provocative one on idiots like Patel and his pupils.

I know ppl from BHW making more money than him; working way less. Some guys/ladies here would bury Patels PBNs if necessary. But as they say in Hungary: silent wolves feeds better. I don't know how to proper translate it to English.
