How To Automatically Message Every Website Visitor on Facebook Messenger?

Hi all, I have a bit of an...interesting question. I'm wondering if anyone here knows the solution to this. Recently, I visited a website and right as I did, I received an automatic message on Facebook Messenger from the site's Facebook page telling me about their products and what deals they had going on.

Instantly I began searching the site's code to see if I could figure out how they achieved this...but I had no luck. Is there anyone who knows how this can be achieved? What sort of price point would something like this go for? This method is honestly invaluable and I wouldn't even know where to begin...imagine being able to send a message to every single person who landed on your website. This method is pure gold.

Please BHW help me get to the bottom of this!

reminds me of similar script shared here on the downloads board.
it overlaid the "like" button for your FB page on top of your cursor, with 0% opacity, so nobody could see it. when the user would click, they would unknowingly like your fb page/group.
it might be that in conjunction with a twist.... bot will see new user liked their page --> queue message user sequence.
did your fb account like the group/page for that website which contacted you? it would be a big clue, especially if you don't remember doing it.

I've looked at the source for a good hour and it seems that they're hosting the script elsewhere - can't access it. They also did some weird refresh once it executed I think.

It's definitely not your basic clickjacking method, as this happened immediately without me clicking anything on page at all. No transparency foolery or anything that I could find.

My account did not like any facebook pages or anything (I checked to make sure). I simply received a message from them once I visited the site AND also received another message today almost 24 hours later! This time, I didn't visit the website at all.

I must figure out how they are doing this!

this is may be they installed some sort of script to use your cookies and then message you on facebook, or some thing of a sort don't really know still thinking

You might be onto something with the cookies method...although this still doesn't explain how they were able to access my account via facebook api. Anybody on BHW have experience with chatbots and automessaging FB users/subscribing them?

Somehow this was all done in the background without my consent or knowledge (which is what I'm trying to figure out). I never clicked, saw, or verified anything (knowingly).

With response rate instant replies ON you can send a message to users visiting your fb page. So they must have opened their page on a new tab and as you were logged in you got the message.

Naw, this can't be it. Doesn't account for how they subscribed me to their bot and were able to continue to message me day after day. This wasn't a simple autoreply, as they had a persistent menu which is only available for facebook pages connected to apps (chatbots).
