YT Shadowban & Algorithm cycles - MEGA THREAD (Large anecdotal Evidence supporting it)

I have a yt video that was 4 years old but for the first 2 years it did few views. The in year 2 video took off like a rocket and I was getting 400-500 views per day for 2 years straight. I am in the forex niche so this was great for me. I was banking 5 figures per month with that 1 video. Then all of a sudden back in April 2023 views took a nose dive to like 200 views per day and now its currently at 100 views per day. Needless to say my income dropped dramatically as well.

Yes sir. I had another video that was doing 3,000 views per day for years. In the forex niche this is fantastic. But then the so called "youtube apocalypse" occurred in April 2017 my video was cut to 300 views per day literally overnight then slowly diminished to literally nothing. The moral of the story is your video will not be viral forever so keep producing content and keep putting up videos. Eventually another one of your videos will go viral again. Its a game of numbers.

All this traffic was organic. I didn't pay for the traffic. It hit the "recommended videos" list for finance videos and stuck there for quite some time. I can tell you back then I spent several hundreds of dollars on several real good fiverr gigs for views, likes, comments, social shares, bookmarking, etc. I posted the video sometime in 2014. Youtube hadn't caught up yet with outsourcing views. Today as you know with the new algorithm its not that easy anymore.

yes does not matter if traffic is organic or not. the shadowban jail can hit anytime.

Hi, can anyone tell me if posting shorts along with long videos can hurt my channel? For example, if I post more shorts than long videos, like 2 shorts per day and 1 long video every 2 days, will it lower my channel's average watch time? Would this affect my channel's growth? Some gurus say we need to post both to grow the channel. I’d appreciate your opinion on this. Thank you!
 
Im not sure if you can do this in EU because of the phone limitations. I don't know how I would have different phone numbers. Google Voice and similar online services don't work. I own 3 phone numbers with 3 sim cards, and one is already in use for a channel. So I have 2 left, but one is for private use, so I don't want anything Google on it, which leaves me with an extra phone number only. I could buy more of those cheap sim cards but I think there is a limit.

I also don't know how to keep the channels separated IP wise. Is dynamic IP enough, or you need to mask each device? What would be the best service to buy for this? And how do you know the IP you are using wasn't used for something bad in the past which ends up in your channel getting shadowbanned or something?

Also, I know no one I can trust to have an AdSense per channel (to have a way to receive the PIN and a different address), so I only have one AdSense.

To do this properly I would need an AdSense per channel, a number per channel, an IP per channel with it's own VPS or something (I have never used such services, not sure how it works), and an email per channel. If you could please explain what is the best way to obtain those?

I'm not an expert at YT, but through extensive research, most of the successful channel uses both, shorts can go viral and drive traffic to your long videos where you've got much big opportunity to earn.

Hey are you still active? I am confused about that math of yours...

You say your video did 400-500 views a day for 2 years - and that you were banking 5 figures with that one video per month

So by calculation , 30 x 500 views = 15000 views

10,000 <=== = 5 figures , so you were getting 10k+ for 15000 views? huh?

That would give you an RPM of .... 666.67 ???????????????

Am I wrong or confused or tripping or missing something?

By my research the minimum I have found forex to pay is $12 RPM , so 15k views = 12000 / 1 000 000 x 15000 views = $180

I’ve finally cracked the 0 view jail conspiracy that YouTube gurus think “isn’t real” So today I’m going to break it down so simply that you’ll thank me later. You’ll see I provided a screenshot of a new channel that people say “just make a new channel and post no need to warm”

When I followed what a lot of these guys yap on twitter. It caused what happened in the first screenshot, people say “skip a day blah blah blah” so I had enough of the nonsense and did some digging like a boss. And what I’m about to tell you is surely worth a follow

I thought to myself “what if it’s an ip address thing” what if YouTube is recognizing me as a robot trying to make 50 channels” so I did something no one every mentions on the timeline. One day, I decided to go on my phones data completely off my wifi and did the unthinkable

For reference I did the first part on Sunday where I created a channel with a new email on Sunday and decided to wait 24 hours. 24 hours later, I went in and added a name, profile picture and a banner and waited another 24 hours. So by this time it’s Tuesday, on this day I did

On this day which is “Tuesday” I then used a website to phone verify the channel as I couldn’t use my actual number since you’re only able to do that with 2 channels a year. You guys see where I’m going with this? After that process went through, I waited another 24 hours.

After another 24 hours go by it’s now Wednesday which is the first day of posting. NOW KEEP IN MIND: you don’t wanna daily post until you get to 5 uploads which I’ve calculated to be the “sweet spot” you wanna post, skip a day, post, skip a day until you get to your 5th upload.

The reason why is we’ve played it safe this far so let’s not jump out of line. YouTube is to a stage now where too many weirdos are mass producing channels so they’re watching like SWAT. As you post and skip a day monitor your stats. They won’t be perfect so anything matters.

I’m going to now attach a screenshot of my channel I experimented this with, keep in mind I only have 2 uploads so far and it’s looking perfect. First video started off at 500 and then picked up. Might have found it’s audience already. I’m coming to conclusion in a couple so

You’re probably thinking “pump, are we supposed to watch YouTube on it?” Yes you do. everyday that you were going step by step, just watch YouTube like comment and sub to channels, maybe channels in your niche of choice. By your first post YouTube will have enough info but let’s be safe. Final conclusion

We’ve reached the final conclusion, this is a result of another channel I tested that on as well. Proof is in the pudding fellas. I’m always around and open to YouTube questions. My last 3 shorts got zero views but my newest long form is getting impressions daily, after uploading the long form I even started getting views on old shorts but zero views on next short. My shorts seems to be doing worse since getting monetized but longforn is doing better now.

I was wondering if I should take all the videos in my channel and upload them on another one to see if they make better views but was worried about yt algo flagging them straight away.
