Which web hosting can handle (+1000 clicks per day) ?

Any basic hosting including yours right now can handle 1k UV a day assuming they are spread over 24h, not just 30 minutes. If you are paranoid as me, use a CDN.

100,000 clicks per day on shared hosting has never been a problem for me. (And I've run some crazy convoluted things on there)

I'd never get hosting through a domain registrar though, that's just asking for trouble. Go for a company who focuses on hosting.

I've had no problems with HostGator which I've run some sites on, though their support sucks. Being self sufficient and knowing how linux/httpd/htaccess/php/php.ini works helps with that a lot.

"What service can support 1,000 clicks a day?" I think says something really scary about your current provider, or the software you're running. It shouldn't be a problem for any real hosting provider.

That's some really valuable advice right there. Thank you very much. It's really good to know that you have 100,000 clicks per day, that's reassuring and encouraging to consider shared hosting as well.

Thank you for the explanation. I didn't know that the droplet was a VPS, do they bill "pay as you go"? Also is the VPS empty or is it already setup?
 
You can lighten the load on whatever web server you choose by moving static images, css, etc out to a CDN.

It's a monthly plan but if you cancel earlier you will be only charged for the time you've used the VPS for. It's very easy if you're using WordPress. I use Openlitespeed WordPress one-click installer image from the marketplace. There are different images for different setup and I think it's very easy to set up for any purpose. Give it a try if you have a VCC or a PP account.
 
It's incredible, the performance at Digital Ocean is almost double for half the price (without cPanel) of what other VPS competitors offer :o

It'd good performance-wise as well as price-wise.

I think shared hosting can still handle it right? Even for 3k-5k traffic.
 
Any decent shared hosting can handle those 1000+ clicks daily.
 
1000 clicks per day is nothing if it is a simple wp or similiar type. Every shared hosting should be able to handle. In case od doubt add Cloudflare.
 
Use cloud flare as CDN no problemo for pretty much any hosting if setup correctly
 
Any web hosting provider that calls themselves web hosting provider will be able to handle that 1000 visitors per day.

Now if every user is opening 100 more pages on that website while surfing then that is another story.
 
For 1.5K visitor, Shared Hosting will not work fine you will face many issues with its speed and website performance down and sometimes your website will get stuck or you will get 503 error. I will suggest going for a VPS plan using NGINX service which will handle your multiple connections smoothly without downtime.
 
I'm getting confused, half of responses say Shared hosting can take it, other say the opposet :suspicious:
 
I am very happy with my choice I am with bullten.com host. The techs are always friendly, and quick to answer my questions.
As for the server, it is always fast, and rarely ever goes down. A place to host any kind of web site...
