Update
Earnings for Yesterday:
I intended to get another article written today but I ended up wasting the day by driving my wife around. I started it but I'm only at 800 words and it's 5:30 PM here right now. I won't be doing any more work and resting taking a day off from work tomorrow. I'll get the article done tomorrow night and uploaded. Then I'll try to make up for this week's failure by doing 5 articles on Sunday. The earnings for yesterday were ok still sold 2 mid-range priced items so we're gonna wait on those to ship. I'm anticipating getting some high ticket items to really boost this month's earnings so far but none yet.
I'll do a summary each week of the things I completed so that's it for the update.
BTW, guys, I will respond to all questions every day but I can't until I finish at least 1 article as I want to stay focused. And I can only write a maximum of 4k words each day. So if I spent time responding to questions during hours where I should be writing content and actually making progress on my journey it would be a waste, sorry. But I will get to them after finishing things that move me forward. ~
Stay Focused
---------------- TO THE QUESTIONS
Hello Bloooop,
I must admit that this is a journey with big potential, I can feel your dedication and energy.
Because this is not AMA type of journey, it would be nice to write in short sentences about some basic questions related to your affiliate site.
Are you using silo?
Construction of your money pages
Url structure
Is your "Start page" independent or it's on the homepage
Are you placing intro content on category pages?
Etc....
I'm on a very similar road as you so I know how much effort you are putting into this.
Good luck and keep grinding!
1. Yes, my content is siloed.
2. I don't understand what you're asking here? They are either "best xyz for xyz" or "xyz review" again I dont understand what you are asking.
3. stackthatmoney.com/printing-money/best-money-printer
4. Yes, the start page on both sites are independent. It's virtually a child or secondary homepage that links to everything I write about. I haven't written the one for site 2 yet.
5. Yes, on site #2 I've written 700 words intro by addressing the problem I'm solving, How I or my team have experience said problem. Then I add H2s and then more text and use text links for money post and post grids for informative posts. So money posts won't be that obvious from the categories page and the site will seem more helpful and informative. But links to buying guides are there if people are interested.
Site 1. I didn't put that much effort into the category page and some of them dont even have the posts linked there at all so it's blank pages. But I only create articles with pages and use parent/child structuring.
OP as for getting stuck "being busy doing nothing" i found that opening a blank word doc with all of my tasks on it heps big time.
Then I pick a few tasks I need done that day and I work only on those, then move on to the next, etc. If I accomplish all Ill run through more, though often with my work I have to revisist previous tasks and update too.
Hey man thanks for responding to that! I recently found this guy on youtube:
This is why I use this journey to point on the items I plan to accomplish and only focus on those. So far it's working. Let's see if it lasts.
Hey man a question. You said you only go for the low hanging fruit, that gets you ranked with no links however, even for low hanging fruit how do you manage to rank without a solid link foundation, considering ur site has no authority.
For exemple, even if you target a 100 searches per month keyword that no one else targets, if another higher authority site targets a keyword even REMOTELY similar itll always rank above you due to their authority.
Also how do you find ur keyword and whata the average product price you advertise to make it worth going for 100-200 ms keywords
1. Internal links, average time on page, topic coverage, and lastly better content (images, etc). It's pretty easy and word count isn't everything. You could have 10000 words on a topic but talk random gibberish and google seems to ignore the whole post. I've outranked 5k articles with 1500 word ones.
2. They'll rank above me for a few days due to high authority but google normally recrawls and see which content is better and user behavior and sends me back to #1. At least that's how it's been so far, I hope it continues like that.
3. If products cost $200 in fitness niche, 1 sale gives you $15. So if you get 3 sales from an article each month that gives you $45. 30 articles like that with each one netting you $45 per month gives you $1300. I use simple math like that to calculate my expected return.
Keep going, content is the king
I know man. I'm working on it consistently.
Why you choose Low volume - Long tails. Minimum SV of 150 per month is the sweet spot. Highest I've gone after is 3500 ?
Are you using adwords or fb ads for promotion?
No promotions. Just good content set and forget.
