Do you use long tail keywords + KGR !!
Where you sell your amazon affiliate product? on your own website or on other marketplace?
Good luck on your trip, just do it again and again
Looks like very planned one. Following. Keep going mate
Good luck. Promising journey.
Could you give some tips to make an article be considered "good" in your own standards?
I generally go with small introduction to comparing the products then I add a "FAQ" section at the end answering a bunch of common questions.
I'm not exactly sure how to improve it even further, how to improve user behaviour etc
This is looking like another golden one to follow. Congrats on your success so far. My site has about 26 articles so far. But hardly am I averaging 1 visitor per day. Started about 3 months ago. I'm going to keep on doing it.
Good luck on your journey
Do you use a brand new domain or an expired domain?
Do you live in USA?
Good luck to you, my friend. This is my exact goal as well. I'll be following this thread, and I hope we both get there...
Any tips on writing content that ranks?
Earnings for Yesterday:
I just got home and feeling pretty sleepy Don't think I'll get to that outstanding article tonight. I'm considering checking out another content writing service here but I'm almost certain I'll be disappointed. I will formulate how I want the article written and contact the writer tomorrow. My earnings have been stable for the first few days of the month and I haven't sold any high ticket items yet. Hoping to sell at least 6 this month and my traffic remains steady.
Tired. So short update.
------------------- To the questions
Yep long tails. My shortest targeted keyword is a 4-word phrase. I've heard about KGR no idea what they are. I know it means keyword golden ratio or something like that but whatever it is I don't know so I don't think I'm using it?
Uhh...., what? Google >> My website >> Amazon.. thats how?
I will. Working on it daily.
It is well planned. It just needs to be well executed.
Hey thanks for supporting my journey. It will be successful, keep watching!
I'm tired so this is a lazy response.
I try to sound relatable by addressing the problem in the first 150 words. Then I follow up with why this article is their solution since I've supposedly experienced their pain, did the research, I should know what they need. Which builds trust and interest in what I'm going to recommend to them. I also use bucket brigades every 200 -250 words to keep them attentive. The most important tip is to be relatable and build trust so you don't come across as a simple seller.
Afterwards, I introduce the best XYZ, include a comparison chart ( as simple as possible) then go into independent reviews. I then select the top product and say that it is the one I currently use and highly recommend it. The others are just as great but may have minor cons.
Then I do the same FAQ and guide to buying if they decide to choose alternatives I haven't listed. The key thing here to make sure you stay on topic by using LSI or keywords every 50 words. Some people ignore that and end up with text that Google thinks is unrelatable to the content which drops their "perceived" word count and also decreases a users' dwell time since they also don't think it's relevant. Then I add 1 authority reference, great pictures and a video if possible.
The last factors are proper grammar, recommending instead of selling, bucket brigades to hold attention, and conciseness of paragraphs/sentences.
I remember when I was in that exact same spot. All I can tell you is that its the light seeping in and the diamonds are a few more articles away. If you keep consistent keep adding articles and you'll soon see the snowball effect. I'm gonna post my analytics growth in tomorrow's update. But keep pushing, you'll make it.
No, I don't live in the USA. I live in Jamaica. I'm using brand new domains.
Thanks man, I'm working consistently on it. If you do too you should make it there too.
I'm off to bed, will start working at 4 am.
Solid plan, what'are your promoting products?
Do you use Payoneer with your Jamaica details to receive payment?
Good luck for your journey, I'm sure you'll reach your goal !
So you are using fresh domain without any backlink for your site? Incredible results! Will follow this thread
I had promised to do a summary of the week for you guys. But more so for myself to reflect on how I could've worked more efficiently. Let's start with earnings.
Earnings for Yesterday:
Again I still haven't sold any items over $500 yet this month. This isn't a good thing as normally I'd have sold at least 10 so far and then have slow mid months and then pick up a bit at the end. However, I'm thankfully selling a lot of $60 - $90 dollar so it's still adding up. If I make $30+ a day that's roughly $900 a month and with 1 or 2 high ticket products sold I'll be over the 1k mark. I'm not feeling great about this as I could potentially have a big dip in traffic and everything's gone to hell.
So I'm glad I've done some work to diversify my income streams on amazon by starting site 2. It won't produce anything for at least 4 months as I have no intention of adding amazon until 4 months in or 40 visits a day. So with consistent work and 15 - 20 articles a month uploaded on that site I'll be there quickly. I'll start doing blog comments and trying to talk to other bloggers in this niche just to establish a relationship then later try to get guest posts from them if we can hit it off.
Not bad, but it's not great either. I need to be earning at least $350/day to hit the revenue target. I'm averaging $35/day based on last month's performance. I just need to add a zero at the end lol, gonna be a lot of hard work.
Created Basic Pages for Site 2
Uploaded 1 article.
Created a physical "category" page with 700 words introduction.
Created Social Media profiles for Site 2
Wrote a 5k word article for Site 1
That's it. THAT's IT?? I did nothing! WTFFF!
I'm disappointed in what I've gotten done this week and when I look back at this performance in the future I'm sure I will wish I had worked harder, more efficiently and gotten more done. If I were an external Boss of my life, this performance would make me Fire myself! I literally only wrote 2 articles and created a few social media profiles. I should've taken no more than a day to do all of that!
Things to do today:
Write 5 articles
Outsource 5 articles
Upload articles at 8 PM
Prepare tomorrow's article by completing 200 words introduction.
Oh yea for those just starting out, take my advice and work consistently every day. Try to publish 1 article a day and you'll get to whatever your target is within 9 months if you are consistent. I know it's hard seeing nonexistent traffic and feeling like you're making progress but it's coming, trust me. I've been there and felt it and my BIGGEST REGRET is not staying consistent. Cause when the traffic starts rolling it's gonna snowball and you'll wonder how you got to where you are. Take a look at site 1s analytics:
I've had the site for 2 years but I did a few articles in the first year that started trickling 1 or 2 visits a day or week then google medic update and I fell to nothing for months. Then I switched niches to fitness and started writing articles consistently in December 2018 and that's what pushed me here. And even then I only wrote 35 - 40 articles in 5 months. If I had written 150 like I'm aiming for I'd probably be making 5k/ month by now. So stay consistent, stay disciplined and come back here for daily inspiration from my journey. That's it for the weekly summary, see you guys in tomorrows update.
Fitness stuff. And home & lifestyle stuff for a certain group on site 2.
Yes, no backlinks actively being built. I had built 15 blog comment links in 2018. Others are acquired through "magic". Thanks for supporting the journey. I'll be working hard to my goals.
Good luck with your journey.
All the best to reach your goal soon. It's really easy to reach that goal if you know what you're doing. I hope you're the one in that kind.
So, you're targeting the wide niche like fitness or sub-niche within wide one? Where you're outsourcing your content writing? UpWork or BHW Writers or your own writers?
Thanks in advance.
If this was a case of scaling facebook ads or any paid campaign I could confidently say I'm sure of what I'm doing. Unfortunately, it isn't. And there are many factors beyond my control. I can only replicate what has worked so far and be disciplined in doing those things. I know what I'm doing but Google changes like the wind.
Subniches within fitness. I know a writer personally that I plan to use. And for the articles, I'll be outsourcing now those are going to someone on bhw.
Its great to live upto your expectations while achieving your aim and objective. Never allowed anything to wick you out.
Wish you luck guy.
