There has to Be Promotional Momentum, on the First Day of Publishing eBook, There Has to Be Flood of Promotion over Social Media, Forum's, Book Related Promo Websites, YOU HAVE TO GET AT LEAST 5 - High 5 Star Reviews from Top Reviewer's, There has to be Flood all over Internet, Amazon promotion will Not Cut it Alone, This is Imperative !!!
Really...you don't have to shout. You seem to be very pumped on this promo thing but all you're doing is regurgitating what someone else has said. I mention writing because you need to put it into action. Even if it's just a short non-fic, YOU are going to have to test instead of simply telling people they need a Promo Tsunami before their book is published. You know this works because...as evidenced by what?? What someone else has said? Promo is vital but the book is the key. There's absolutely nothing wrong with learning promo along the way. There is no Perfect Promo system. There is no Perfect Publisher guideline for success. AND.... there are many authors that do very well without a platform.
I have EVERY kindle product on the market and have been publishing since 2011. I've worked with 2 bestselling authors and many kindle money chasers. I've seen it all. Sometimes stuff works and sometimes it tanks. What you're shouting about is NOT new. You're not uncovering the Holy Grail of book marketing.
Besides...without a book, what's the point.
