Well almost everyday i see some user asking this question again. My engagement has dropped , my account is dead yada yada yada. This guide is
most useful for people doing follow/unfollow.
Warning - this guide is long with no pics , you have been warned !
First of all i'm going to say something that most of you already know -
Follow/unfollow (via a bot) breaks the account, your account is flagged and you won't be able to recover it no matter what you do. Trust me i've did everything under the sun even getting
my account disabled and then getting it re-activated. I just doesn't work. Some accounts are lost hope but you may still see an increase in engagement using this method. But what do i mean by it breaks your account ? Thing is you won't get
viral as often as you can on a normal account as compared to on a botted account.
Second -
stop doing telegram engagement groups, atleast the most common ones. Don't you think
ig can detect everyone who come together at 9am , 12,3pm EST and like each other photos since dinosaur went exist few years ago? @colorme can tell you more about this.
But what about manual follow/unfollow ? I would say
manual follow/unfollow is better than follow/unfollow by bot according to my tests but i still wouldn't recommend doing follow/unfollow at all if you already have a decent instagram account. If
you are just starting i would say
spam the hell out of follow/unfollow and then
move to dm likes on a new account.
So lets dive right into the method -
Say you have a 10k account - The way ig algorithm works is that when you post, your post will be shown to a small sample to accounts - lets say we choose this number as 10. So if it was shown to 10 people and none of them even liked your pic , that post is going to
suck. However if it was shown to 10 people and
all of them liked, commented and even tagged a friend then that post is going to
explode. Ig will show the post to a lot more users in the second case.
So the main problem is people don't remember
following you and some are pissed as you
unfollowed them. The best way to remind them is to
like their posts and remind them that you still exist as simple as that. So what we need to do is
like 2-3pics of users who are your followers and are not liking any of your content.
Steps (you will need a bot or scraper) -
1. Scrape a list of your followers via any bot. I'll name this list as
F.
2. Scrape a list of people who liked your 10 recent posts. One by one and manually of-course. Compile all of them in a same notepad as name this a
L.
3. Go to - http://www.somacon.com/p568.php (not my site), paste both lists
F and L there. It will filter out the uniques for you. The uniques will be the users who are you followers and who haven't liked a single pic of yours for the last 10 posts. Name this list as
U. You can also use excel for this if you are good at excel.
4. Get this - http://imristo.com/instagram-manager-scrape-users-data/ , credits to
@JustChillin . Load the list U, filter out the users who are private. You can't like pics of users who are private if you have unfollowed everyone so we will just
block them. Save the
list of privates as P and the rest as NP.
5 - Block out the private users
P using specific filters - block all those who don't have a profile image/bio, haven't posted in last 60 days, have number of posts less than 2. This will filter out almost all bots without making a dent in your followers count. I use a private bot which provides all these filters, i'm sure the common bots has it too.
5. load the list of
NP (obtained in step 4) in your like tool and start liking them. Like 2-3 of their recent posts and keep up this process.
6. Enjoy !
Results - you should see like 15-50% boost in engagement , it varies from accounts to accounts.
p.s - Don't say it doesn't work without trying, sometimes list will be long if you have a 50k or so but its worth your time to do this.
