There is no official statement from google but you will noticed people complaining their Adsense account suspended after reaching this amount. So yes all website will get manual review once their earning reach a specific amount.
 
This is a very unique method to me and one that I haven't tried before. Right now I am trying to diversify my income streams and this is definitely something that I can add to my list of things. Thank you for this share and I will begin implementing this soon.

The reason that many of you are getting no traffic from this is because you aren't approaching the right group boards. Many of them have 0 engagement, despite having tens or hundreds of thousands of followers. As much as I hate guru type guys on YouTube, I actually found some reasonable advice about group board posting in this hour long video posted by one of these guys. His wife gives away some pretty useful tidbits in this video if you can sit through an hour of it. I have no affiliation with either this guy or the stuff he's selling. The group board stuff starts right around 33 minutes in:

One thing she mentions just before 33 minutes in is using different image sizes. Specifically, you can make your image taller than it is wide, and it will take up more screen real estate on Pinterest than most images do. This will make it more likely to be clicked.

OP, Can you please share some tips on how to grow our own boards. I created a Pinterest profile a month ago and currently I have 20 boards with top quality repins (some boards have 100+ pins) but still I have only one follower :(

initially, you must go and find boards in your niche and manually follow the followers. once you have 100-200 followers in your boards, you must manually contact your followers that has boards similar to yours and ask them to be collaborators. once you have like 100 collaborators, everyday you will have 100 followers on autopilot.

it is hardwork in the beginning 6 months.

Interesting, thank you for sharing. And what after 6 months? Do you pin the same link with photo to all the boards? How much traffic could you expect to get? Dies it convert to sales?

All the boards I check I see pins with no comments or repins. It's very strange. I am looking for boards on pingroupie
