[Instagram Update] What does this mean for bots like FollowLiker

I assume followerlikes api to IG is different than the one iconosquare is using?

Nothing will happen, i believe both followliker & massplaner do not rely on the instagram api when it comes to commenting, following, liking, etc. I could be wrong, but it would be totally stupid if they did. I know that this will probably hurt tools like Instagress, but not those bots that most of us rely on, because if they did work with the Instagram API, it would be impossible to bot nowadays due to instant bot recognition. I could be wrong, enlighten us.

Do we have an official Comment from MP or FL?

Its the end, unless your a Wolf Millionaire Student who followed the step by step "strategies" of Instawealth Growth System then you're okay..

They use a reverse engineered version of the developer API

I actually have the full guide, it's 50GB of material and honestly very well made.
I'm only on the first chapter (of 12) tho so I can't give a comprehensive review yet.

Do you have a link for it? If so, can you send it? Thanks so much!

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but won't accounts that use the other "follow" "unfollow" (non-robots), have a hard time Unfollowing users that unfollow them?

If so, that is good news for us using bots.

Yeah I was thinking the same! $500 seriously? And we don't share anymore? We started gaining morals in here?

If it is not for sale on BHW market. We just share it :) That's our rules correct me if Iam wrong! Either with us or against us ....

But then again what's in that book? Dogs balls !? I wonder if we find it even useful, probably not

Using the API is a clear as daylight footprint, so anybody that wants to bot anything would not be very smart to do it through an API. You don't want to tell them you are botting, you want to appear like a person to them.

Calm down with the entitlement there. I'm not obligated to share anything, especially not if I don't consider it legally safe for me to do so.
I highly doubt that there's a rule saying you have to share anything to BHW that's not on the marketplace.

As for the guide. It's actually very well made and delivers high quality insight (owner of all the "madwhips" accounts is the creator). I'm currently on chapter 3 of 12 tho so I don't have a complete picture yet.

Yes it will be, that is probably their aim with this update.
It feels to me like Instagram are trying to kill the "follow 4 follow" style of building accounts.

While I won't argue that it is something special to amass a total of ~12M followers across his accounts, I'm not sold on that alone. Why? In that video, he derides "follow & unfollow" methods because those people will "ultimately turn into ghost followers" and basically pitches he's got better methods.

If he has better methods than "follow & unfollow" which hesays just yields ghost followers, he must have some crazy engagement numbers, right?

Wrong! This guy has the same fucking 1% engagement rate that 99% of all large accounts (botted or otherwise) get on Instagram. o_O

So, what exactly is in this $500 package that can't be learned from just soaking in the IM library that is BHW?
