In need of direction

I've been in social media promotion, for a few years now. I've learned the small ways to make money through selling bigger accounts, and doing logos for small companies. But its never enough money where one wouldn't need a full time job somewhere else. Im interested as to how some people basically sit back, and make money off advertising, bots, I see alot about seo's, even people making hundreds off selling certain game accounts. not saying its easy I know it takes time. But where do I start.

Keep doing whatever you are doing and getting some $$ flow in that same time learn, read at BHW and see what fits for you. You might want to become expert in something and bank more. You've mentioned quite various topics there so start learning about one of them and see what fits you.

One thing you've got wrong, no one of those people who are making a lot of money is sitting back and chilling/spending money. No matter how much money they make they can even more easily spend it. You can rest assured that each on of those guys that seem to you has money rivers going their way is working their ass off each and every day to find new ways and/or improve current ways of money making.

Thankyou for the info, I've been looking alot more into different subjects on bhw. Its definiltey been helping me alot. Your right though making money is never as easy as it seems. Im going to keep pushing, until I think of more ways to branch out, and improve.

It's all about testing. There are alot of free classified sites out there where you can advertise your services for free. you never know, u may just find a hidden goldmine with one of them. never give up!

Realistically, your best bet is to specialize in something and then go for it, build your knowledge and experience, and stick with it. I know, because this is my problem. I have a case of "shiny object syndrome" - basically it's easy for me to get all hyped about the "next big thing". What I would suggest is thinking about what you're good at - words, numbers, research, and so on - and then figuring out what you can do with that. I like to write, so what I have done in the past but put aside - to my detriment - was writing content. Nothing fancy, since I didn't do it regularly enough to get things rolling and get the necessary connections for big, lucrative jobs - but even though it was nothing fancy, I got it.

You might be a numbers person, good at analyzing quantitative data. If so, think about what you might do with that. Testing various SEO methods? Something else?

But I'm certain of one thing - only a few people will be able to jump from one field to another and consistently make money. It is relatively straightforward, however, to become an expert in a certain field - just keep learning and trying things out.
