How To SELL things to my Email List?

I am new to email marketing and have fair amount of subscribers in my email list, But I am confused, which emails to send to my email-list? I am promoting a Clickbank website that has only one product that it sells.
1. Shud i start promoting my product from the first email Or Shud i give them some freebies and build relationship with my email-subscribers?
2. How often shud i email them?
3. How many emails shud i keep in my auto-responder?

First of all, try to send 3 good info emails without promoting proucts or links (helping your audience with somthing). And use 4th email to promote your own landing with affiliate links to clickbank. Of course, it's only one personal method (e.g.)
