How Do I Get Views on My Youtube Videos?

Hi everyone,

After being on BHW for quite sometime, finally I am ready to take my first step in IM. Whatever I have learnt in IM, is all due to BHW community. Thank you for entertaining my pestering questions all this while.

I am trying to explore a niche on youtube. I have the content ready and understand the on-page keyword practices for youtube, but do not know how I can get people to view my video.

Basically, I need help to get the ball rolling and actionable tips on how I can get thousands of people to check out my videos within days (if not hours of its release). The niche has competition and there is an existing competitor with couple of channels with millions of subscribers.

Hey, thanks a lot for sharing these resources. I have gone through them and basically I know about the quality of the video, time, keywords, description etc. I am looking for help on how to (and where) promote my video, so that I can start getting views.

Also, I don't know how backlinking for youtube videos work. Do these links have to be from related pages/domains? Are TF,CF any factors? Do I need to do tier-linking?

1. What do you mean by "grab tag around 1k/10k Search on Month"?
2. Can posting in FB groups help?
3. What do you mean by this -> "301 Pump on Youtube take Tour what is 301"?

Failure always begins with unrealistic goals. How about you start by figuring out how you can create quality with your work, and let the rest happen naturally?

Agree. Fortunately, I already have the product and it has had good feedback. But the competitors have average products but with great branding and promotional tactics.

Let me know if you have any tips with regards to promotion.

The post I made was in regards to your video creation. So that is the advice on promotion. Make a good video, target the right keywords, write it's description well, and it will go viral on its own.

The algortihm has changed, don't listen to algortihm things on the old threads btw.
 
The old one was, views + likes -> You go trending. So everybody was asking for likes for any reason in the video and making stupids titles to make people click on the video, click bait titles without any contents.
Today, it's only watch-time. Likes are still good, but views doesn't mean anything now. For example, on trending, you will find video with 300k views and videos with 2 million. So click bait titles are useless if you don't have really good content.

there strategy no matter what the video is or looks like .....
