Great Traffic to Site, 0 Sales

Hi BHW, I've been doing shopify dropship + fb ads after stumbling upon this site and falling hard.
I've got a fb campaign up (one of a few), and this one is getting me good clicks and traffic to my store. However, zero sales, zero checkouts, and a handful of add to carts.

Here are some details for those interested:

Check out ad #3, with an avg.CPC of 0.00

The vast majority of my site traffic is being driven from that 3rd ad.


Here's a gist of my audience size and locale:

lots of Vietnam, Egypt, Brazil, and some US. Vietnam and Egypt have the highest affinity for the niche.

Ad is set to conversions, pixel is set to 'view content', so its optimizing for that (since i have no substantial data for 'add to cart')

Any ideas why they won't buy? Ad is driving traffic.The price is under $30. My website looks clean and professional. The only thing I can think of is the ad mentions free shipping, but doesn't say the item is free or even hint at it. My store is in CDN dollars, maybe that throws people?

So if I make the item free, and make shipping expensive, that should test whether or not its the price. Because then I should see more 'add to carts' and checkouts, regardless of purchases or not. Right?

A couple of things I'll say is;

Are you based and shipping inside Canada?

$CDN - unless 99% of your buyers use that as a primary currency, that will put some off as they might get hit by exchange fees.
Also it's not a well known major currency if you're outside of Canada why would you use it?

Either set up to take multiple currencies to attract buyers from across the globe, so offer $US, £ and even the Euro as payment options.

Naturally if you're only selling into Canada- ignore that advice.
You mention " Vietnam and Egypt have the highest affinity for the niche." so look to offer US$ payment option, as it is a steady currency, unlike the Egyptian Pound which is not in a good place at the moment.

Secondly, you could trial free product and free shipping, but here you potentially run the risk of undervaluing the product.

Price has to be fair, if someone can by same/similar a lot cheaper, they will do so.

Markup is small, as the product is fairly expensive for an aliexpress item.
I'll look into changing to US.
