Hi everyone. I just want to ask if there is any other tips in finding website owner name and email besides in going to the whois tab on each domain registrar? Any tips would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Best way is to try with whois websites and see on which name the domain is registered.if you dont succeed try to fibd where the site is hosted, and ask the support about the owner , tell them that you want to buy it or somethibg similar and probably they will give you contact

I find that http://www.domainiq.com is pretty much the place to go when you need to dig around. Their site offers more than just a simple whois lookup and can turn up a whole load of other related info about the domain and ownership etc.

I don't think there is better way than doing what you've written.

I just read your reply and wanted to add that domainiq.com has a feature that allows you to contact the site owner from inside their service/site.

It is unlikely that a hosting company will give you the contact details of their customer. The other way would be to do a whois on the domain and use what ever contact email is shown. Often it is a privacy domain but you can still send emails to it.

If you're able to send PM's then PM me the website URL and I'll find out the relative information for you.

With protected WHOIS you can still try emailing the listed address. Depending on the registrar they might forward your email to domain owner.

This could work. Send an email (that requires a reply) to any email address' listed and you might get an email back from a trackable email.

If the person has a reason to hide it might be that they are undecipherable without consent of the host. Otherwise a few hours of digging through google caches of webpages can turn up wonders. Like who used to own it before it was private or if privacy ever lapsed.

If it's a marketed website, like on social media, look for the person marketing the most in caches.

Adult domains will most likely be nearly impossible to find the owner.

    Whats the domain? PM

Either Who.is or Contact Page can provide website owner details

    Hello,

I am not in the flipping/domaining business, but I also need to find owner(s)' email addresses.
You can try a google search: *@domain or use emailhunter.co website. I think the free account allows you 150 searches/month.

The best bet would be to check the WHOIS. Failing that, maybe look over the website for their contact details and try reaching out to them (request to speak with the management / owner).

Are you trying to find the owner of a specific site? Maybe if you provided the domain we could help there?

This shouldn't be the case. Providing a clients contact details would be a privacy violation. The best case one should expect is a hosting company maybe reaching out to the client informing them X is trying to make contact but even this isn't guaranteed to happen.

    Hey OP,

If they have set private registration with their domain registrar then you need to contact https://www.domainsbyproxy.com.

The site wont reveal the owners information but it will contact their domain registrar and relay your message.

Usually people use this to contact websites which have stolen there content or posted copyright information.

Best of luck and have a great day!
    ~Mark
