CBO for testing products

So recently, not long back, I shared the Depesh Mandalia's CBO cookbook with y'all. Took a while for me but I learned a hell lot from it (Highly recommending his stuff- courses, book, masterminds, etc. This guru is a beast) and implemented all in my ecom biz.

Not completely relying on CBOs to avoid loss, but Testing to test products with both CBOs and Straight adsets.

For testing I launched 2 campaigns.

-Straight adsets 10x10 USD a day

-CBO 10 adsets

CBO drastically outperformed the straight adset campaign. CBOs are still a hit or miss though imo, maybe it's because facebook ads are shaky lately. Will let you guys know once I find out more through tests.

Amazing results, CBO's are hit or a miss but I found my campaign overall was doing good. One con of CBO testing I find sometimes it spends too much of the budget on a single adset with no results while other adsets are looking more promising.

Indeed. Also, I think they've made it mandatory for new accounts to run CBOs. Since it's a hit or miss, I think most people who recently got into F-ads marketing or don't understand it are the ones who are bound to face the crisis.

Thanks! I do have the book and I had shared it here but Diamond Damien removed the post since the book is named in DNS list.
 
Interesting, I've been looking into testing a CBO strategy as well (Verum Ecom's strategy), do you know how one could have access to the cookbook you mention?

Hello! I'm starting dropshipping. I was reading an article on the Verum Ecom blog (Facebook Ads for Dropshipping 2020). I had some doubts:

Why is the campaign running in phase 2 with 5 sets of ads with the same targeting and the same ads?

When I move on to the next stage, do I duplicate the audience on a new CBO, disable the previous one?

Can someone help me?
