I read of hashtagify me in another thread - but the price of 30$/month when paid monthly is ridiculous.

Is there any other site to research hashtags for Instagram?

Is it worth paying for a hashtag analyzer site?

There are hashtag-generator sites where you input one hashtag and relevant top-searched hashtags will populate.

I suggest searching G for this; options are plentiful.

There are some great app's for hashtag research which can help automatically populate the most popular and beneficial hashtags

I would say the best place is Instagram itself.

I tested alot of sites, paid and free, didnt get a good result. Now i just stealing them from accounts in my niche that have alot of viral posts.

My research has shown a number of ridiculously expensive hashtag site like keyhole that asks for 180$/ month for the regular account.
Hashtag generators are so generic that they maybe good for a bit of inspiration but not more.

Best way for now:

Think up the most specific hashtags, list them, see how widespread they are on Instagram, and drop all the tags with millions as they won't help and focus on the 1k - 70k range with an option to 70k to 150k postings per tag.


PS: those Instagram numbers where they tell you how many postings a tag has - what timeframe are they using? Can't be all photos ever posted on IG.
