Sounds like you've started making some important changes OP. Just remember you chose a lifestyle, not a solution. You should still be doing the same years from now. Take it from me, you should never stop!

I've been liftan on and off for a couple of years now. Strangely enough I started out skinnyfat, became regular chubby, then went back to skinnyfat, now just skinny. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a skeleton and I look 100% better than before. But I still neglect my lifting duties for the sake of convenience and comfort. I'm also a smoker so that doesn't help.

Will have to change all of these things in the nearby future.. I'm painfully aware of that fact.

I've been working out ever since I started high school (2001)

Obviously since then I have missed weeks here and there sometimes a month or 2 but never more than that. Work is the only thing that really gets in the way of working out. Sometimes play too :)

Never been over 182 and never under 165 since my junior year of high school. Was at 165 for a long time then started to get bigger as I grew older. Currently at 177 and feel great! Don't think I would ever want to get under 170 again. I play mens slowpitch softball and bowling...so there is usually quite a bit of drinking involved lol

Lately been working out 4-5 days a week. Running or biking before I start lifting. Basically just trying to stay in good shape and keep my health up there. Eating eggs or chicken after every workout. I still eat pizza, tacos, etc...but I try to limit it as well.

I used to be big into bodybuilding weighed about 260 Im 6'1 I quit for about 15 years and ended up weighing 330lbs just a fat pig, one day my son saw an old photo of me from way back when and he said "dang dad WTF happened to you" 5 years ago I joined a gym and I am now back to my original weight and now at 50 can lift what I did when I was in my twenties. I do an hour of cardio and 1 1/2 hours of compound strength training one body part per day 5 days a week, best part of all this for me is I still eat like crazy and suck down the beers and the exercise keeps the gut off.
Doesn't eating effect the weight n look?

I am also thinking of joining Gym.
Do that when you start seeing changes and people start noticing you ..shit feels good and you feel healthy n confident cuz you are better looking then people you talking to..i got great boost in confidence people give more respect too..best is girls coming to you n starting the convo;):D

Calories in, calories out. Exercise hard, eat hard. Don't exercise, don't eat.
It's really simple brah. I lost 20 pounds in a couple of weeks by diet alone, no exercise required. Everyone got freaked out and amazed about it too, as if I must be on some kind of meme diet, or pills or some shit. It's just inconceivable to most people that you really can eat less comfortably.

Want to lose tons of weight quickly? Start your day with a whole bunch of coffee. Fuck breakfast, you'll be fine until lunch on caffeine. For lunch, have a whole grain bread sandwich with a little ham, a little cheese, a bunch of lettuce, tomato, and cucumber. It's delicious as hell! The ham & cheese tricks your brain into enjoying it for calories & fat, and the vegetables and bread fill you up.

For dinner, have a piece of LEAN meat (think steak without fat, grilled beef so the fat is burned away). That means no sausages, fatty steak, fatty pork, etc. and a really big bowl of salad with only some olive oil, vinegar, salt, pepper & garlic for dressing.

That's it! Meals are delicious, your calorie intake is next to non-existent and you always feel full. You can lose any amount of weight this way. Just eat more vegetables.

Once your weight is at your desired number, just balance your diet with your exercise. If you exercise a lot you can also eat a lot, just keep eating your veggies. RAW veggies. They're good for you ;)

Damn!! Thats 15 years continous ...awesome man..i hope i continoue next 15 years

You don't want to do too much of gym on its own without balancing it out with some cardio. Strength - weight excercises like pressups, pull - ups ect are the best :)

True that i keep 3 days for lifting and 2 days for cardio and functional..

I've been wanting to this for quite some time now but laziness is taking over every time so... oh well.

The Trick is to think about the positives ..follow the lifestyle of the one's who went family pack to 6 packs...when you look good have strength feel good...when starting just tell yourself no pressure do as much you can do 10 minutes of it is better then 0 minutes so you progressed a bit and a bit by bit makes difference..

Started lifting about 13 y/o. Got into powerlifting about 20. About 50 gave all weights away, about 57 started again at city gym, stopped within six months due to statin induced pain. I stopped at 50 due to joint damage in shoulders, hips, knees, and lower back. Was in 500 club.

Lifted front ends of Volkwagon bugs to win bets.

Be careful, it is easy to permanently injure yourself with heavy weights.
