I'm brand new to SEO, and I'm trying to monitor my page that is a niche for real estate (local). Can anyone tell me if I can use SERPBook to track key phrases (rankings for multiple keywords when searched together, rather than just 1 word)...?

For example, I want to monitor my rankings for people searching "Sell house fast [city]"

And I don't really care what my ranking is for people searching "Sell" "House" or "Fast" independently.

I've been using the system for a while now and had some concerns:

1. I am tracking 400+ keywords but nowhere close to those 400 are checked daily let alone hourly. A maximum of 50 have been checked on any particular day.

2. As mentioned above... all ranking updates are nowhere close to hourly... they are more like once or twice daily.

3. How do we set our own alert values? I.e. if I wanted to track every 10 or 5 or even 1 movement(s) through the alerts section.


I like the system and want to keep using it but it looks like the updates are really nowhere close to what I need (or what is advertised) and I'm hoping it's just my account that has some sort of glitch...

I sent in a support ticket as well if that helps.

We are currently undergoing a few updates throughout July 23rd 2013 to July 24th 2013, which will cause ranking updates to temporarily slow down.

Regarding your alert values, you can adjust the threshold for an alert in your settings area.

What I want is to be alerted of every change in rankings (on the homescreen) no matter how little or big... where do I find that?

SerpBook will be able to accurately track keyphrases such as "sell house fast [city]" (a "keyword" does not specifically mean one word). You can also set up the geographical location option for SerpBook to track your keywords with.

Hi there, at the moment SerpBook's notification settings are predefined. However if you want to be alerted everytime a notification is triggered, you can set up the email interval in your settings.
