Starting a my Tech Biz [Journey]

Hey BHW fam,

I'm kicking off a tech company with 5 other people. Me and 2 others are programmers, but honestly, we're kinda desperate right now trying to find something to offer that actually sells.

We've tried custom software development—nobody was interested. Then we moved on to automation for accounting offices and even landing pages for barbers, but nothing sold.

Now we're thinking of offering hosting services, mainly focused on gaming (Minecraft, GTA, Terraria) or maybe even hosting bots (Discord, Telegram), but I've been warned that this could be a trap market-wise.

We're really stuck. We have the skills, the manpower, but no idea what product or service will actually sell. We're based in Brazil, so it needs to be something that works well in our market.

Any advice or suggestions? Seriously open to anything right now!

What were you doing before creating your team?

I would go for wordpress plugins coding, you can choose a specific niche, lets say automation for example!
There is also SMM bots building services!

You should first get some clients on board to develop recurring monthly income. Then spend time developing a software product in free time.

I’d suggest doing some freelancing first; get some customers and provide them with what they want. That will help you to identify needs in your market, then the right product will present itself to you.

Till the day you find something which will give you a breakthrough don't give-up . It's always best to focus on one action or vertical at a time and give your 100%

And remember , the money you make in the business is not your money its your company money.

1 idea or Tip : If tik tok is available in Brazil , Try building up a strong and organic traffic source.

I'm already developing some common software, but I can't attract customers for these products

This is really interesting, we could go in the software house direction, but I've never been good at getting good freelancers

I think I chose my path, I want to move into the hosting business, specifically minecraft server hosting!
I made some modifications to the jvm and the server's executable, so it can run much lighter. I want to focus on clients who want simple servers, at most using some mods.
Now I'm thinking how I can get these machines with dedicated IP and for a cheap price, I looked at AWS and this won't be very profitable for me, I have a machine that runs a nodejs application, it has 16gb of ram and a xeon, but I don't have public ip, so I have no way to start with it.

Does anyone have any tips for any server services or how I can host these servers on my machine?

Maybe this is a little bit out of the box, try to create a tiktok / youtube account related to a game that you provide hosting for, make short form content that has the potential to go viral for example: minecraft building videos create an audience! pin your hosting service in the comments and put in in your description. if you get sales from it multiple the accounts don't get banned take a look at proxies and anti detect browsers if you decide to multiply.
