I make music and I run IG story ads driving traffic to my YT music videos. Today randomly my business manager got banned despite the ads were running fine. They also rejected my appeal... fuckers.

Anyway, I was still able to open a 2nd business manager after this so could I just try running a revised ad there? Or would it get straight banned? I’m not sure if Facebook doesn’t want me to advertise at all OR just not to use that particular business manager account that got banned.

Secondly, if I have to cover my footprint and open a new business manager on a diff account could I still advertise on my instagram? As an artist running ads to grow my IG is just everything so I’m worried because my BM got banned now I won’t ever be able to advertise via my IG now too.

So I decided to create this thread to try to answer all questions about running ads in 2020
The platforms I know the most are Facebook, Google Ads (Adwords) and Bing Ads
I have been familiar with these platforms for years so I know most of the reasons why issues happen.

Not sure if this question makes any sense but, what do you think is more effective; brand awareness campaign or focusing on promoting specific posts to a specific audience?
By brand awareness I mean the whole brand of the website and what it offers.

It depends a lot on what you're trying to do, are you trying to sell multiple products under the same brand or just a specific one?

You'll get banned from running anything eventually, but you need to know how to cloak to make the ads last some time before the eventual ban

If your IG is still active it should be fine to still run ads to it, I say give it a go if you haven't already!
