We are going to run an ICO with an aim to raise capital to complete the road-map we have put up forth. Not trying to brute force anything here, not even selling anything yet here either, as there is no service or product in here on display yet.

As I mentioned earlier, the reason why I started this thread was just to re-share news from my website.

Now that it is not possible, I am using this thread for something else - I am working this thread towards getting feedback on our upcoming ICO project, but while I am not sharing any more details yet why not get some interest to it with an aim to get real feedback on the project once it has been launched.
No probs, out of curiosity why aren't you going for an IEO instead of ICO? Being that you've already got your blog behind you I imagine some of the small-medium-sized launchpads would be keen depending on your traffic and the amount you can spend on listing.

ICOs are a super dated model at this point and have a bunch of negative baggage attached to them. IEOs aren't a whole lot better, but the reputation of the exchange backing your IEO can go a long way.

I once took part in an IEO. It was a top 10 exchange on CoinMarketCap and it was partnering with CMC. We paid the money to get listed on it, $xxx, xxx and run an IEO. We sign the contract and then the bedrock started to come up as we neared the IEO date.

The exchange decided to decrease the time for the IEO by saying it will attract more investors because the time is limited.

Then they said they will complete the first round of crowdfunding by themselves (we were supposed to have 3 rounds) by saying it will attract investors for sure on round 2 and 3. Even thou we did not need any of this and we did not talk about any of this prior, they just said they will do this a few days before our IEO.

This is just the bad experience with IEO's and it is probably our fault we did not research the exchange better.

I suppose I could go for an IEO, I just need to find a small-medium sized exchange which is secure, legit, has got real trading volume going on, easy to sign up etc. But then again, it could hold back some investors as ICO provides an opportunity to buy our tokens anonymously and we are getting in the cryptocurrency gambling niche. It might hold them back from investing if they have to hop onto a small-medium side exchange which is not very popular perhaps.

We will have 3 rounds of crowdfunding. With every successful round, we will get listed on a new exchange, and by by completing the round 3 we will get onto a medium sized exchange, where bigger players hang out on.

My aim is to get only a hand full of investors on my ICO, around 10. Preferably investors I can closely work together with to help me develop the project further - feedback wise, network wise, resource-wise, idea wise, wisdom wise, staff wise etc.

We have a good business project and the above ^ makes more sense than just to get people's money, it is a good capitalization.

So, yeah, the biggest withdrawal from getting into IEO is the need to sign up on the exchange.

Instead, I am researching the best small-medium sized exchange with the best qualities to be ready to get listed on as we complete every round of the crowdfunding.

Has anyone here on this forum have been dealing with ICO/IEO project/s?

I never had to deal with the Information Commissioner's Office, but I did email them about some privacy question and they never got back to me.
You can reach them at www.gov.uk

Are they related to cryptocurrencies and/or blockchain?

Do you write the articles that are added to your blog personally or do you have writing staff?

HAF stands for Hire a Freelancer, which is a section in the forums list. You can create a listing there that is designed to find people to hire - they would have deleted your post because it was commercial in nature, but in a section for non-commercial discussions.

Anything to publish? I publish about 50 crypto articles per week on different platforms and work for a range of different crypto trading platforms, crypto projects, and cryptocurrencies themselves creating and promoting content. I don't really have anything to publish on your blog because I've already got positioning covered elsewhere at this point.

The reason I asked was because if you wrote your own articles it would be interesting to discuss some of the topics that you've covered. It's always interesting to have discussions with people in the industry I find, it's something I particularly enjoy.

A good rule of thumb with BHW is that if you want to sell stuff or make money from people, you need to get Jnr.VIP rank first. If you want to find people to work for you, you don't need to get Jnr.VIP but you do need to post about it in HAF section. If you want to set up a situation where you partner with people, you don't need Jnr.VIP but you do need to post in the Joint Venture (JV) section.

Alright, thanks!

Well, CryptoHuff was inspired by the ***** board, where each posts gets to be at the top (thus noticed) and the nature of the content I can publish can vary - it can be promoting a new project, it can be about updates for an existing project, it can be an article about a specific person and his/her skills and service offers, it can be about a product etc.

I allow fresh and small projects to be noticed.

Personally, I do not want to be too opinionated or share advice in the crypto space, as anything can change in a split second and I rather feel more happy finding new projects that want to be more recognized.

Well, since you are working in the publishing articles on different platforms, working for different crypto trading platforms, crypto projects, currencies themselves and creating + promoting content, perhaps we could connect better.
Cheers!
