SEO Will Get Saturated

People say there are easier keywords, but the easier keywords are worth less. Often time not worth building sites for.

A lot of this stuff is only for people in third world countries. You can't make any real money off these low competition keywords.

You're best bet is find ways to get traffic from social media. Doing SEO from the beginning at this point is probably a wasted effort. A good social media post can get you 10K views in a day. That would take a year or more to build up on SEO, and that's if it worked. You're better off testing spam methods on social media. Less effort and the same reward in less time.

This can't be more wrong. SEO was pretty easy in the 2008-2012 era compared to 2019.

I don't think 2019 SEO is harder than in 2010.
The reasoning:
1. Many people gave up on IM or moved to social media so less competition.
2. Back then people were paying to get listed on dmoz and now people do the same for huffpost or forbes, so not much of a difference.
3. Back then people were using article directories for content and now they want something fresh so it's somewhat easier to promote blog posts.
4. Too many people don't believe in seo.
5. Nowadays, I get more natural mentions (with backlinks) than before as there's less free junk on the net.
6. OK, in 2010 it was easier as you could automatically submit your sites to thousands of directories + use 'article spinning + submitting' method you could submit your spun articles to thousands of article directories.

No! SEO will never be over saturated.

As more new products like car, smartphones, tech will enter market large number of new kw will be there to target.

For ex - tesla cybertruck.

People will start looking for price, specs, photos n more.

There are million new things which enter market and new kws are ready to target.

I think that when you start learning something new it's normal to overthink about or this thing is not saturated or it's really worth your time spent, but you need to understand that almost every business nowadays is saturated and if you really want to make money from it, you have to work very hard and fight for it. It's the only way for success.

Sure SEO is saturated. IM is saturated. Software development is saturated. Every industry is saturated.

Remember Sturgeon's law: "Ninety percent of everything is crap"

So there is always opportunity

Isn't everything saturated nowadays including social media. Everything has already been done before. What needs to change is that we need new, better and cheaper advertising platforms that bring actual results.

I just don't understand why nobody is coming up with a better, cheaper Facebook or Google Ads platform. I think most of these platforms kinda suck. I have seen people building SEO only to make 100 dollars per month a year later.. And they can lose it all in one day if google chooses to penalize for whatever reason.

that's the biggest fear of every SEO guy, saturation happens in any business but in other business, the stability is more, the more work you'll do the more output you'll get, but here in SEO everything controlled by google, and you can lose everything overnight... (and sadly i have experienced this ;_; )

It is not a compulsion that we have to find low competition keywords. Some people try to rank for high competition also. Higher the game higher the money.

Humans' interest is constantly evolving, so there will always be keywords as long as Google stays in business. So, I wouldn't worry too much about saturation, still can work your way up to the top!
