Hello BHW I got a question I have been thinking about and need your inputs.

I was thinking what if SEO gets saturated?
Think about it what we do is find a keyword on Google that has low competition and good monthly volume, doesn't that mean that after a while there will be fewer and fewer of these keywords and will became harder to find them and at some point they will will be only high/higher competition keywords as everybody will have taken the low competition keywords and is ranking their site so at this point SEO will become saturated or not exactly but very hard to do and would require more experience, kinda like how Google adwords used to be cheap but now it requires quit a budget to do sucessfully long term.

What do you think, do you think this is something that might be tue case for sEO in the future.

It's already happened...

But there are still plenty of easier niches that you can take. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

After a while these easier niches will get used up and it will be hard to do any SEO.

People say there are easier keywords, but the easier keywords are worth less. Often time not worth building sites for.

A lot of this stuff is only for people in third world countries. You can't make any real money off these low competition keywords.

You're best bet is find ways to get traffic from social media. Doing SEO from the beginning at this point is probably a wasted effort. A good social media post can get you 10K views in a day. That would take a year or more to build up on SEO, and that's if it worked. You're better off testing spam methods on social media. Less effort and the same reward in less time.

SEO has been saturated since Google started to become the #1 search engine back in the early 2000

How was SEO done before Google took over?
I was not imto IM during those years

Anything can get saturated in life at some point but that doesn't mean impossible.

It will be the same . People are lazy .
The number of New people entering into SEO won't bump overnight .

You had directories like Dmoz and a lot of niched start pages that you used as a homepage with all kinds of links

Those where the days that you could make thousands of dollars with a view naked images and a banner, i miss those wild west day :(

focusing on building high authority site will help for this type of questions.

rest other things are there because of overthinking..

This can't be more wrong. SEO was pretty easy in the 2008-2012 era compared to 2019.

SEO was much easier in the early 2000, when adsense was just coming out you could rank with gibberish content, there was a PHP script called "Real Simple Site Generator" and i made a ton of money with that through AdSense and early CPA offers until Google started to became smarter. And stared ban accounts that used this method, also you could rank without backlinks, just meta keyword stuffing :D

Those where the days

Even bakeries are too saturated, I hear some people still open this kind of weird businesses. Letting jokes apart, nothing will be never too saturated if you are unique in a way or another.

If SEO is not for you, go with social or paid ads.

Yes it will saturate so no point in you or we participating on BHW

I think that when you start learning something new it's normal to overthink about or this thing is not saturated or it's really worth your time spent, but you need to understand that almost every business nowadays is saturated and if you really want to make money from it, you have to work very hard and fight for it. It's the only way for success.

There are always medium competition keywords that you can rank with some effort. Low competitive, high valued keywords are very hard to find.
It's hard to rank keywords without good backlinks and quality content now. It's not like every keyword out there is impossible to rank. You can't just blast link on some cheap content and expect it to rank that's all.

Still new keywords are coming every day mate so not to worry about as of now.

Content/sites will eventually be outdated as much as others will have you think years long content is evergreen
