Thank you, @mitussj . I have been a fly on the wall for quite some time, but I would like to discuss the algorithm further (send me a PM). I have never used automation services, and I have only relied on organic growth since day one. Today I have almost 500.000 followers and relatively great engagement.

hello mate I'm also trying to build an account without any bot. It is lifestyle niche. I post 3 times a day. interact with followers of giant accounts on the niche. But I only have 80 followers in total for these 2 months.
can I know what kind of methods did you use to get that grate amount of followers? Thanks in advance

I want to try this method but I've come into a problem. Using Jarvee I extracted a list of my followers and then I wanted to do the next step of extracting users who liked my posts but it occured to me that this will extract all Likers, not only those who follow my account.

So this would mean that when I combine the two lists (followers and likers) people who liked my posts but don't follow me will only appear once, which means they won't be removed when I go to the next step and delete the duplicates. So then they'll remain on the final list as though they are followers who are not engaging.

Is there a way of avoiding this? I feel like I'm probably missing something obvious here, but can't quite figure it out!

Yes, you need to play with data you got to get what you need. Keep in mind that Jarvee extracts up to 1k likes from a post. If you have more likes, you will not get a full list and get rid of active followers too.

Im using GMT2 but when i scrap the list of followers (40K) most of them are not updated. Does Jarvee list of folowers would be fully updated? Maybe someone is using and can help with that question.

@tux thanks for the guide—this is exactly the type of content I was looking for.

does anyone know if it's possible to hire someone to help with this type of thing? people I've found (on sites like Fiverr, Upwork, etc) have been pretty low quality, seem to just run a F/U bot and aren't very knowledgable regarding the intricacies of the algorithm changes (and how to work within them). I'd need someone to work with me, basically hand-hold me on this, so I can do it myself. I believe I've run into issues in the past when two IPs in different locations are logged-in and active at the same time.

thanks!

Cheap and good quality doesn't exist. Either pay a good amount of money for the same or just do it yourself. Me and my team can do it if you have a decent offer.

does this method still work?

Yes it does.

I'm assuming it would have to be a lot more manual now as the use of bots is obsolete

are the scraping methods still the same?

First of all i'm going to say something that most of you already know - Follow/unfollow (via a bot) breaks the account, your account is flagged and you won't be able to recover it no matter what you do. Trust me i've did everything under the sun even getting my account disabled and then getting it re-activated. I just doesn't work. Some accounts are lost hope but you may still see an increase in engagement using this method. But what do i mean by it breaks your account ? Thing is you won't get viral as often as you can on a normal account as compared to on a botted account.

I know this thread is a few years old, but I heard that this isnt true and many people were able to come back from this to a normal state again. What is your opinion now (almost in 2020) about that?

Hi, seeing if this thread is still active. I currently have 3 Instagram accounts which are pretty much dead, 98k, 95k and 25k. Your ideas certainly sound like they will work! The only bit I'm stuck on is finding a bot to do step 2? Each post I make can get anywhere between 300-1500 likes so it would be very difficult doing this manually on all 3 accounts. Also, I'm sure even with removing private accounts the list of accounts to like 2-3 pics of will be tens of thousands. Is there any bot that could streamline this process?

Thanks

Scraping methods are little different. Filtering methods are same

They can come back

Look into a bot in the marketplace. This method still works
