Instagram Hashtag Strategy to Increase Engagement

Hey

I am a digital marketing expert and several weeks ago I came up with a change in my hashtags which ended up increasing the engagements on my posts up to 20 times more.

For example my posts generally got 2k - 3k reach on Instagram but after my new strategy it got to 15k -22k reach which is amazing.

So what I did?

Before I was using big mega hashtags that were so crowded. I couldn't get into the top section of those hashtags because I didn't have enough engagement. So I targeted lower and weaker hashtags with less posts inside them.
I looked at a hashtag top post section, I checked the engagement and if I felt I could get to those numbers, I used those hashtags under my posts. That's all.

I also recorded everything in a video tutorial which I will share soon.

Yeah, everyone is using this method.

Also, if you are a niche page, you can simply copy & paste someones hashtags (If you know the page use solid hashtags) and add a couple of yours. So, you save yourself some time.

Isn't this what everyone does? Better to be a big fish in a small pond (rather than a small fish in a big pond) when it comes to hashtags.

This one confuse me, I get it that using a non competitive hashtag to get easy ranking but wouldn't it get less engagement since less people is using it? So how are u going to get high engagement and many people to see? Vice versa if you use competitive hashtag, you won't get view too because you're a small fly lol ... So in conclusion is like .. Using both ways leads you to dead ... I need advice here lol
