.
What you are saying isn't based on logic, you are just making stuff up.
It will NOT mean less bumps. The seller can still do the same amount of bumps every 24 hour period. It's an OPTION to not bump the thread when replying. How would it result in less traffic to BHW and the thread? It wouldn't. You are just lying.
If you think users will create an account to get more basic information they can't find, then post in the thread, then wait for a seller to PM them, you are absolutely insane. There is 50 other results on Google and 50 other similar sales threads. They will just look somewhere else and MAYBE come back to you if they can't find an answer. Have you ever sold anything ever? Under your logic, websites should have like a 100% contact or sales rate when people click their Google ads.
What people are saying is that people should answer questions via Private Message. How is that transparent? All answers to questions should be public. That is what transparency is. Like, you aren't even trying here. Do you know what transparent means?
The rest of your post doesn't even make sense. I know I beat all the trolls.
The votes are irrelevant because lots of people will vote against SMMnet simply because they don't like him. He could ask if BHW should give every user $50,000 salary and people will vote no.
First of all, you and
@SMMnet both act like we (members) are unable to understand the OP.
I don't have enough of skills, words, vocabulary, will and English knowledge to compete with guys like you two are.
But, there is this user
@Sherb who literally bashed
@SMMnet , and there's nothing better to be seen under this thread.
Let's bring back our short history first:
I see so many people saying "just PM them" and that's not an ideal solution at all.
1) more content on indexed pages (marketplace threads) means more traffic for sellers and more traffic for BlackHatWorld.
2) lots of users have the same questions and lots of people don't have accounts. Most people will not sign up to ask a question, they will just leave if they don't see the answer. But, if they see the answer, and they want to buy the service, they will be more likely to sign up (if it's needed to buy the service).
3) Transparency is good for everyone.
4) We already have fake accounts bumping threads every day, I don't see how this would increase fake accounts. The proper solution for that is to tackle the underlying problem of fake accounts, not limit useful features.
5) I will support SMMnet just to make the trolls angry.
1) Nope. This means less bumps, less exposure, less traffic for sellers & BHW.
2) A user who is interested to buy something will create an account or contact seller via Skype etc.
(under every BST there is at least some history to be seen, which is enough for the buyer to make a decision)
3) Transparency is already there, lol. You ask Q and get an A.
4) It would not increase nothing in all scenarios, because you can always create a fake account. (lol)
5) You beat all trolls with your statements.
Alright, back to responding your last message.
"What you are saying isn't based on logic, you are just making stuff up."
Bullshit.
"It will NOT mean less bumps. The seller can still do the same amount of bumps every 24 hour period. It's an OPTION to not bump the thread when replying. How would it result in less traffic to BHW and the thread? It wouldn't. You are just lying."
The seller can do one bump per 24h, and it should even per 48 (rule update) because it brings more value to the seller and BHW.
Yes, I understand that you believe in the power of this "OPTION"
Let me show you the future:
1. Real time MANIPULATION
- With this "OPTION" forum is losing its main function: replies under threads, quotes.
- This "OPTION" creates a REAL TIME chat where all active users can ask for xxx amount of questions.
- To not make MANIPULATION happen, you will have to restrict BUMPS to buyers and sellers, both.
- Saying this, I mean: replies under replies (of all users) or no matter of the system, must stay silent.
2. Yes, LESS BUMPS (because you have to disallow bumps if you allow this shit)
- This idea is just speeding things up, while preventing organic advertising.
- You got historical BST threads to watch at. They work beautifully when it comes to bumps.
- Of course, some users won't read nothing, but every serious buyer, who care about his money, and who is potentially a subscriber will find time to check all replies.
- Updates, new prices, issues, it will come to that part with every service, you can't just go and make Q nonstop.
(this is the part where the seller is taking action, maintains his service)
Here, just take a look at this brutally correct text message: (facts rain baby)
Before I say my peace
@SMMnet:
1) I am a former and future seller on BHW, so my response should apply.
2) I read your post several times, as well as all of your responses.
3) I don't care who started a thread, you don't tell me what the fuck to do, kid.
4) Someone's status on the forum should not play into whether or not their opinion matters.
I support the idea of having the second post of a BST thread to belong to the sales thread owner, allowing them permanent editing privileges in an FAQ format. I think the option for thread bumping should be increased to 48 hours. That "review copy please" posts should be bannable for
everyone. That "PM sent", "order placed" and discount code related posts should also be considered spam and bannable.
There is NO reason that buyers should have to sift through pages upon pages of repetitive garbage on threads to get to the actual reviews of the product. The only posts that should be on a sales thread are legitimate questions, which can be responded to inside that second post FAQ, notices of changes to the service offering from the sales thread owner, and reviews from verified purchasers of the service, at a minimum of 100 words.
The Marketplace has gotten to the point where spamming is the only way to truly gain success unless you are willing to pay out the ass for a sticky thread. Even then, some sections have 15+ sticky threads that have their own internal bumping fights. "
But you didn't read the thread, it said no bumping!" I don't give a fuck. You are one of the worst thread bumpers I have seen in my decade-plus viewership here.
I as a buyer don't want to sift through thousands of repetitive spam posts to get to what I want to see. Things like what you are mentioning
@SMMnet would provide no benefit to the community, but would instead only serve to continue increasing the exposure of your own service, which you have alluded is the point of all of this.
4/5ths of the people who have voted in your poll have voted against your idea. But I'm sure you don't care, as you only want things that serve to progress your own brand's agenda, regardless of the voice of the community. We have had an extensive chat. I took the time to give you numerous suggestions. You ignored them all. You'll probably ignore this too.
"If you think users will create an account to get more basic information they can't find, then post in the thread, then wait for a seller to PM them, you are absolutely insane. Dude, sooner or later, everything happens for you. No matter of your profession.
If you want to get something badly, yes, you will have to come to the right place, sooner or later.
The world is a huge place, so the quality is highly appreciated.
Service on BHW do not even need to drop contact, it is optional. Every serious buyer will be forced to come.
You have no idea how many accounts were created on BHW just to purchase a single service.
You have no idea how many marketers, here and there, would pay %300 of price, because they make %500+.
Under my logic: what you give is what you get. Marketers are stupid and full of shit.
Nothing is relevant regarding services, as they might be reselling, offering poor skills, poor websites, poor paid traffic methods.
"What people are saying is that people should answer questions via Private Message. How is that transparent? All answers to questions should be public. That is what transparency is. Like, you aren't even trying here. Do you know what transparent means?"
I surely know what means transparency, and privacy as well.
Sometimes, or better, most of the time, buyers don't want to ask their questions public, because it could potentially result as a hint. However, transparency is all around, what more you need to see I wonder?
"The rest of your post doesn't even make sense. I know I beat all the trolls."
You are now at the top of trolls hill. Congrats.
"The votes are irrelevant because lots of people will vote against SMMnet simply because they don't like him. He could ask if BHW should give every user $50,000 salary and people will vote no."
Welcome to the hated list.
