Its not that kind of network. You write an article, and have 40 seconds window to be spotted. When nobody spot it, you write again new original content.

I tried to do that myself and joined 10 groups. Got accepted by 4 of them. Linked my first blog post in each of them and I've had a total of 1 person upvote from all groups. Facebook groups don't seem to be active.

Linking it in chat seems to generate almost nothing because so many people are spamming it.

The only real followers I have gotten seems to be people that actually read it before it slipped off the main page or followed me because I followed them.

And you can't really drive outside traffic to your blogs because they'd have to go through the membership approval process before being able to do anything.

I don't really see a way of making money with this unless you get lucky and someone dumps a load of Steem in your lap and putting you on the Hot list.

I'm active on steemit myself (my account is "sirwinchester" as well) and when I discovered the site in july 2016 people used to make thousands of dollars per day.
Now the price of the STEEM cryptocurrency has dropped a little, but you can still easily get a few bucks per post.

All I can think of is.. there's no such thing as a free lunch. Where is this value coming from?
