algorithm

I'm confused how the algorithm works on Soundcloud when it comes to determining a songs "related tracks" which is to the right of the song. It seems like that would help a lot for exposure. Does anyone know what to do to have your song recommended by the algorithm? I've seen something weird...

Just curious to know what everyone thinks--read an article from TechCrunch reporting on a meeting with Facebook, in which Facebook reps claimed (according to the article) "Shadowbanning is not a real thing, and Instagram says it doesn’t hide people’s content for posting too many hashtags or...

Hey everyone, I noticed a BIG change in the algorithm recently where it is showing a HUGE amount of posts from the accounts I like frequently. I had like 10 posts in a row from one of the same account, a lot were posts I had already liked. It looks like either the algo is glitching or they...

Hey, Everyone knows that Penguin 4 causes some pretty wild dancing when adding links, especially to new sites. I think by sharing images of the dances, anything from -10 to -100+ or more, and what type of links / anchors (optional) were added beforehand, we can all learn a lot about the...

Am I the only one who thinks that Googles first page is so fucked up nowdays? I am seeing that, blackhat or whitehat tactics doesnt work on first page either. (I am not talking about tactics, that can fire a site from #60 to #25 with some shitty pbn links. Because yes, thats "rocket science" is...

I (we all) know YouTube did some changes with it's algorithm and many of you (I also) will say that buying views and unlisted method will not work anymore. But than comes this channel (and many other channels) UCMxJK7h0LuC2if5vpgJePdA and denies it all with the usage of this method. So, are we...

Hey friends, I wanted to open up a discussion on what we think was the underlying method for instagress' targeting settings. If I remember correctly you could target: 1) tags (from a list of up to 1000 hashtags of your choosing) 2) location (from a list of up to 100 of your choosing) 3)...

So with all this talk of new algorithms on instagram I decided to do a little research using Google & came across a developer page on instagrams site stating the limits to avoid too many request error. Can anyone tell me if this information is outdated or not? Also what exactly do they mean by...

This is an open question to anyone who is willing to share their experience and what they've learned in seo and building and maintaining websites. We have all had successes and failures, and hopefully learned from both. Few things are more valuable than experience and few gifts are more useful...
