seriously, like the title says, is reliable service and support going out of style? is this process that once used to be and integral part of business 101 now a lost art? are my expectations unrealistic?

i have paid for two copies of xrumer, installed them on two seriously decked up machines and subscribed to premium proxies ready to rock 'n' roll. if i give you the specs of my machines and the arsenal of IM software i have just purchased and the additional ones i am going to be purchasing in the next couple of days, you will clearly see i'm not a joker...i mean serious business. i have solid goals i intend to accomplish and some mad deadlines to meet. consequently, i am short fused and my tolerance for ass scratching, nose picking bullshitters is extremely low.

i have made several attempts to contact xrumer support on skype to no avail. the curt responses i consistently get do nothing but infuriate me since they barely address the problem. i have followed their instructions every step of the way. i have gone as far as offering to pay for premium support with no success.

it's this simple: i don't give a fuck how good your application or product is suppose to be. if you can't support it after you sell it, it's a fucking waste of my time and completely bogus. if you won't support your product all the way, don't sell the damn thing to me. i am willing to pay twice as much for a product if the support is reliable.

    example:
i went to micro center two weeks to pick two machines. i chose the fastest processors they had in stock, the fastest harddrives and paid them to max out the RAM to what the motherboard will support (32gig). i paid $4k for the machines which were suppose to be ready for pickup in one hour. i browsed in the store for one and half hours since i had other things to buy. i didn't get a phone call that entire period notifying me about the status of the products and services i had just purchased. i left the store and came back the following day at 5pm when i still hadn't received a phone call after 24 hours of when they were due for pickup. i get there only to find out that fucking degenerate idiot who was assigned the task just failed to call after it was completed. as a result, i decided to return the machines. i have goals to achieve which will be damn near impossible if i rely on so-called professionals who cannot honor simple commitments like a phone call.

the customer service guy begrudgingly refunds my money. the next morning, i get a phone call from another degenerate idiot threatening to report me to loss prevention because he couldn't find the RAM i returned the day before (the RAM that i actually never physically received). after a heated conversation with the micro center store manager, it turns out that this customer service fool didn't bother looking in the machines that they were installed in two days before this entire fiasco.

i solved this problem buy paying one and half times more for the same specs at puget. their support is great and their machines are just super good.

i'm a serious business man with a deep pocket investor pounding at my door. i have a solid track record of delivering on my word. i've achieved this by working with reliable people. if you're not a service provider with integrity, please don't take my money. i will pay you what you ask for and sometimes more...but you better deliver the goods. i charge a lot of money for my services and my clients pay willingly. they do so because i suck up to them. i jump through hoops, endure sleepless nights and do back flips for them. as a result, i only want to work with people who are willing to help me maintain these relationships. if you're not such a person, simply stay the fuck away from me...and don't take my motherfucking money. :D

I agree on most parts that the support is what makes or break a business.

But whats the point in telling the world about your deep pocket and super good machines and all that? You want us to know that you're a super rich guy living in a $5Mil mansion or what?

my point is that i invest heavily into what i do for a living, both time and money...i'm as serious as a heart attack. consequently, i prioritize your paycheck when i contract you to do work or buy services/products from you. earn that courtesy i extend to you by reciprocating in the same fashion...that's assuming that i'm dealing with a respectable service provider. there must be honor even among thieves.

Sounds like you have some serious inflated ego issues going on there.

Also your IQ seems to be seriously lacking considering you can't even get xrumer to run, and yes, it has a manual, support doesn't mean someone is going to babysit clueless scrubs day in day out.

If i was the seller of xrumer, i wouldn't want you as a customer either.
Xrumer is as it is, you won't get much support, take it or leave it, there is no alternative to xrumer, and it's cheap.

dude, you seem to lack basic english comprehension skills. we all have our respective areas of expertise and we strive to excel in that department. i have met respectable CEOs who can't boil water without burning it let alone write a single line of code. what people with high IQs in high ranking positions do to enhance efficiency is hire professionals who are exceptionally skilled in their respective crafts. having a well oiled machine does not mean possessing all the skills required to execute every single task in your organization. all the great minds know this and that is why they hire good accountants, high profile lawyers, etc.

how did you deduce from my expressions above that i had an issue with the price point of xrumer? my concerns were clear and had to do with reliability of support and not price tag. learn to read and comprehend. i even expressed a willingness to pay for additional support with no luck.

it's retards like you with IQs below room temperature who go around thinking there's no alternative for your product that go out of business. having a relatively cheap product does not justify unreliable support. YOU are the type of service provider i stay the fuck away from. with your line of reasoning, you're very likely to be nickeling and diming for the rest of your professional career.

now you go ahead and hold onto your imaginary high IQ while i make my money. my clients have egos the size of the eiffel tower, but i put up with them because they have what i'm looking for: CASH. we all work for money and our time computes to an hourly wage no matter how much we make. if a customer requires additional support for a product you're selling, the least you should do as a smart business person is quote them a price for the requested service. that puts them in a position to decide intelligently on whether or not they want to proceed with the service. you don't simply disregard the request because you currently have no competition.

i'm currently very busy. as soon as i have the time, i will fund a developer full time to create a competing product just to give away for free...then watch what happens to their market.

@OP, Please stop the ranting, if you've got problems with some providers, shitlist them, people go in this section to find some freelance work and notto read some guy's rants about how big his dick is.

    there goes another one...
i have ego problems and little man syndrome because i require a service i'm willing to pay for? sounds like an ingenuous inference. you actually took the time to read through the entire thread even though it was a waste of your time and went as far as commenting to that effect. do you see the irony there? people never seize to amaze me. you sound about as bright as a 20 watt tungsten light bulb. :D

It's ironic that you have posted the solution: "people with high IQs in high ranking positions do to enhance efficiency is hire professionals who are exceptionally skilled in their respective crafts."
Instead of wasting your time and ours by bitching and moaning in this useless thread posted in the wrong place, you could have already hired a VA who knows how to operate the damn thing, hell, at your budget you could have hired even a Russian translator.
I'm not a Xrumer user but I do know simply from the BHW threads that it has a learning curve and that the support sucks. They are well known facts.
Who's fault is that you don't document well enough before buying something?
I don't know, you don't have the time or you are just plain lazy but you can still hire someone to do the task of documenting too.
And please, FFS, capitalize the first letter from a sentence, even you are such a very busy and important man.
