Hello i am looking for your guys opinion on this idea ive had,

the idea is to grow eCommerce brands and sell them,

I would find a profitable niche setup a website on Shopify(maybe outsource some products)

I would then grow an Instagram account (with the brand name) to get traffic to the Shopify store, then i would use the follow/unfollow(I programmed my own bot) method to grow the following on the account and get it to a certain milestone.

then i would sell the eCommerce business

rinse and repeat.

Do you think it is profitable or a bad idea?

While ever there are buyers anything can be sold.

I'd suggest to start out with 2 or 3 at most and see how it works out.

Don't put all your eggs in one basket.

Why shopify, why not make even more money and use woocommerce? Much more flexible

I can see you are depending only on the social traffics, which would be costly. I would suggest to do your background research before getting into it, since E-commerce is a cutthroat market and you need to have basic understanding of your product & customer buying pattern.

I had my own tshirt brand and earned some money through online, but spent most of money in discounts and marketing, which was a huge learning curve for me. So take some time to study the market before you choose your path.

if you manage to get traffic and sales to your page .... sure you can sell it.
if you have a effective system to grow the IG accounts which bring in the traffic it sounds like a good plan :)

I have another question, should i get success in the eCommerce brand (make $$) before i sell it or should i just gain a following and traffic and let the new owner get/sell products?
